  1. Was going to say that Klopp rotates more. I can't find any PL stats, but De Bruyne for example has covered more distance than anyone else who's played 5 games in the CL this season - https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2018/statistics/round=2000881/players/index.html#order=3desc
  2. Which, if anything, makes me more suspicious about his teams. When Guardiola tested positive his sample showed 6 times the limit for a steroid which aids recovery and reduces fatigue. Maybe I'm paranoid about it from following professional cycling for years, but people buried their heads in the sand about that too before it all came out in the 90s.
  3. Man City have some incredible players and I love watching them play, but I do wonder about the legitimacy of their performances. Some of their players play pretty much every game and they do so to an incredible standard and intensity which I haven't really seen before. It's not like Guardiola doesn't have a dodgy history with PEDs. Drug testing in football is more or less non-existent compared to endurance sports, but they've already been charged this season for missing tests, which I find amazing for a top level professional club.
  4. Zero creativity in this Spurs team, like.
  5. Can't work out if he's lacking in confidence or just lazy. Doesn't really seem to apply himself at all in anything he does.
  6. Joselu drives me up the wall, like. Just nowhere near good enough to be relied on as a first choice striker.
  7. Not sure Murphy has the know-how or concentration for this. Keeps getting caught out.
  8. So same line-up as our Championship team last year then. Says a lot.

    Adam Armstrong

Rotherham in the summer if that's the case.
  10. Yep, to be expected really. Agreed. Would've meen mental if Burnley had won.
  11. Not sure how he's managed to score two goals considering the casual nature of his finishing.
  12. Good opportunity to try Shelvey/Merino/Perez in the same team.

    Jacob Murphy

    Rubbish gif though.
  14. I'm fairly sure he was wrong as Clark has played significantly more PL games.
  15. It looked to me like he was playing his usual position? Maybe a little further up the pitch but he was playing behind a striker for most of the game. Atsu started as the central striker, with Perez behind him. They seemed to swap a bit. Then Gayle came on and played as the central striker again with Perez behind him. Perhaps he had less defensive responsibilities which allowed him to focus on finding space more, which he's always been good at.
  16. The players seem to understand their roles much better in this formation with Perez playing.
