I think he’s looked good considering how long he’s been out for. Already looks a lot sharper than his sub appearances.
-
really enjoyed everyone playing left wing btw

Bournemouth equalised against Liverpool. If we can get through this…
-
Captain Longstaff. So happy for him.
-
Thought he was really good yesterday. Seems to take him a match or two to get back from an injury.
-
Even when he has a bad game (thought he was fine 2nd half tbh) he’s still the one who successfully moves the ball from less dangerous areas of the field to much more dangerous ones.
-
only Trippier has been better imo but obviously recency bias clouds that given today’s game
-
I can kind of see why we didn’t make changes to be honest. Difficult game to come into.
-
think we’ve been significantly the better side but our goals have been very lucky. Think we can get another 1 or 2 here though.
-
we really need to get his contract sorted
-
Trips has lost all 6 of his duels that half. Looks desperate for a rest.
-
surely that can’t be a penalty man
-
think we’ve been pretty good considering

decent analysis of what was good/bad last night in this thread.

yeah, this was on all first half. The one time Isak got put through was when he injured himself Very much an unlucky game for us tbh.
-
what did he add on in the second half? 4 minutes? It was outrageous.
-
do the under 21s play friendlies ever?
-
it’s 3 yellows for a suspension in the CL I think

hard to tell watching on TV but I imagine the drum was intimidating and off-putting to try and compete with because it was absolutely relentless. We're gonna have to learn to compete with it though if we're going to be in Europe often because it seems like most European fans bring one.

Looked like it might have been a broken collarbone to me (common injury in cycling because of what you do with your arms when falling from a crash - looked like a similar impact), in which case I'd guess at 6-8 weeks or so. Some come back faster.
-
yeah. Willock coming back is obviously huge. Could've done with Tonali starting tonight but I can certainly understand why he didn't.
