  1. Ordered an official home shirt with name/number for my son, which has just arrived….minus the name/number part which the online order says is still ‘being processed’. I’m expecting either nothing or the stick on name/number to arrive separately now. These cunts couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery ffs.
  2. His wages are far beyond what we’re currently paying.

    U23s & Academy

The year is 2020 and they’re waiting to see if Charnley has offered them contracts to stay on via the group Whatsapp.
  4. I remember us being linked with Galtier back in 2014. Thank God for Carver that we didn’t end up with this prick…
  5. Yep. She’s the academy manager (for the past 4 years) and has just temporarily taken the first team job after Ferguson left.
  6. “Anyone else” suggests it was a “take”. But whatever. Answer is no.
  7. Not at all. Bizarre take tbh.

  9. We probably will- he might be just coming to finalise media stuff and personal issues before leaving again. Can’t see him training for another week or two given his schedule since last season. Guess we’ll find out over the next week with training pics though- he might not want the break, and get straight into his new club and teammates etc.
  10. Born in 1994. Fuck, I feel old.

8 year deals on mega money?
  12. Whom happened to be wearing a Sunderland shirt, was perfectly fine after your pathetic Mag slap, and proceeded to knock you through the hospital wall.
  13. Sounds like someone’s seen the name and guessed it’s the same then. ?
  14. “Currently, I am Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Newcastle University (UK), where I am also serving as co-convenor of the Faculty Research Group in Critical Theory.” https://www.lorenzochiesa.com
  15. ? fair enough. I don’t know too much about him other than he’s 22 and Bayern were interested a year or two ago. edit- just seen he’s got a year left on his contract too.
  16. Anyone take Hudson-Odoi? Right footed and supposed to be leaving Chelsea this summer?

    Tino Livramento

He’s only played a single solitary season in senior football (plus two games last year), and during which, suffered a serious potentially debilitating injury which no one knows if he’s now fully recovered from. I can’t see anyone paying the money Southampton want. He played well for that one season, but another one in the championship wouldn’t be the worst thing for him to prove his form/fitness before a club takes a shot at him.
  18. “Bournemouth open talks over AZ Alkmaar defender Milos Kerkez but face having to pay over £20m for the Hungarian amid interest from Newcastle, Leicester and Leeds” https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12259405/Bournemouth-open-talks-20m-rated-AZ-Alkmaar-defender-Milos-Kerkez.html we’ll get one or two of these type signings I reckon, before the window shuts.
  19. “Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced strict rules that forced clubs to reduce the number of foreign players on the pitch, with only three foreign players allowed to feature in one game while each 18-man squad list would have to contain at least two Chinese players under the age of 23. This move was designed to give Chinese players more regular football and improve the national team's prospects. More changes were made the following season to reduce the number of foreign players allowed in each squad from five to four. As well as this, the total number of foreign players appearing in a game could not be more than the number of U23 domestic players. A new 'tax' was then introduced in 2018 to stop clubs spending large fees on foreign players and it stated that any club that spent more than £5m ($7m) on an overseas player would be forced to make the same payment to the CFA. This certainly halted the flow of stars heading to Asia for a final payday, but clubs such as Shanghai and Jiangsu had a bigger problem. It made Chinese clubs somewhat less attractive than they were two years before and, as attendances fell, clubs struggled to make up the financial deficit. They couldn't afford the wages promised to players and the financial backing from their mega-rich owners suddenly stopped. The host of clubs backed by real estate conglomerates were affected by lower revenues during the Covid pandemic as the market collapsed and the billionaires who owned the clubs soon withdrew their funding. It meant that clubs such as Jiangsu Suning were forced to fold, having won the CSL title in the previous season. Hulk, Jackson Martinez, Yannick Carrasco, Axel Witsel, Marek Hamsik and Gervinho soon made for the exit, with the dozens of Brazilian players heading back to South America, while Oscar is still in China after watching a move to Flamengo collapse at the 11th hour. Now, star names in China are far and few between after the incredible spending from six years ago. And in the meantime, there has been little improvement for the China national team, with the CFA's gamble ultimately failing to bring the expected benefit.” https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1736480/Chinese-Super-League-Oscar-Chelsea-Shanghai-SIPG-Jiangsu-Suning-Hulk-Ramires-Carlos-Tevez?int_source=amp_continue_reading&int_medium=amp&int_campaign=continue_reading_button#amp-readmore-target

  22. NUFC Twitter ban because we’re all racist cunts
  23. Of course they did, but he’d obviously already spent the majority of his career (including a league winners medal) elsewhere. Plus Shearer thought we would have a good shot at winning the league. There’s next to no chance at Spurs. I always had Kane down as being quite ambitious, hence him wanting to leave for Man City the other year and being kept against his will by Levy.
