I remember there was a lot of fewm about this game and tweet last year ?
  2. Supposed to be leaving this summer, isn’t he? Hence Felix extending his contract before he went to Chelsea? Amazed there hasn’t been a few premier league links.
  3. Depends what Castore wanted to be paid off, I guess? Or if there was a set fee for the cancellation of contract? I’m no expert, obviously, but am guessing you can’t just pay them a figure without them agreeing to it. For Castore it might not all be about the financial aspect, but exposure using our shirts, especially given media interest in the club and our ongoing success.
  4. “Confirmation today that the Castore deal with #NUFC runs until the end of 25/26 season. Castore apparently still very reluctant to allow early #NUFC buyout of contract. We could be stuck with them for another 3 seasons as things stand.”
  5. Think I saw a media report this morning (can’t recall the source) to say Levy would sell Kane for £88m. The report was talking about PSG.
  6. Just amazed the UK Order of Satanists haven’t kicked off yet about the use of ‘Red Devils’…
  7. sounds like there’s fuck all in it: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2023/04/19/manchester-united-city-badge-change-slavery-links/ “Manchester United and City are facing calls to amend their badges amid suggestions that the boats on their motifs are linked to slavery. Anti-discrimination campaigners have called for interrogation into potential links between the logos and the city benefiting from the trade. Lemn Sissay, the Manchester poet, said "we are all looking closer" and has suggested his city "needs to know it" if the ships represent slavery. Ged Grebby, chief executive of Show Racism the Red Card, added that he "welcomed" a debate around what the symbols on the shirts represent. Suggestions that the logo should be removed were raised in an article in the Guardian. “As someone from the diaspora of Jamaica, I have been on a mission to hopefully force the change and removal of slave ships featured on both Manchester City and Manchester United’s club logos, plus the City of Manchester council,” a reader letter to the newspaper said. United and City declined to comment in response, although a source close to the clubs told Telegraph Sport there are no plans to review logos for either teams.”
  8. Yep. Got exiled by Arteta for his attitude issues. Grabbed Maupay by the throat after having gobbed off all game about how much he (Maupay) earns compared to Arsenal players and that he’d never reach their wage. Blames others for shit games and never himself, including in training where he falls over in disgust at a misplaced pass etc. Fallen out with various Marseille players and every single manager he’s played for. he’s competitive when playing but a definite no in terms of character.
  9. Not to mention Will Still hasn’t got the required UEFA Pro licence. (Although I guess working towards it might count? His current club has to pay £22k every match he takes charge of, as a fine).
  10. It was officially ‘undisclosed’ but taken to be minimal.
  11. From the article: “Even without Champions League football, Newcastle are going to be ambitious in their recruitment drive with players such as James Maddison, Moises Caicedo, Conor Gallagher, Ivan Toney, Kaoru Mitoma, Kavlin Phillips, Jarrod Bowen and Declan Rice being discussed, along with the likes of Scott McTominay, Harvey Barnes and Kieran Tierney. There are also several players currently playing abroad who are attracting firm interest, with Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram, Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga, Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby and Napoli pair Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia admired.”
  12. Half of Europe are scouting him- Real, Bayern, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City etc etc. His contract isn’t up until 2026 I think, so will be mega money if he moves in the meantime. He’s also previously mentioned wanting to play for Barca when he leaves Leverkusen.
  13. He’s on crazy wages- well over £200kpw.
