There’s around 35k season ticket holders (at least according to the Chronicle here: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-carabao-cup-final-ticket-26137519.amp ). Last year, Liverpool got 32,999 and Chelsea got 33,053. edit- cut and paste some of the link for those that don’t want to click: “Despite its huge capacity, however, many Newcastle fans are fretting over whether they can get a ticket for the Carabao Cup Final against Manchester United. The Magpies are likely to get approximately 32,000-33,000 tickets allocated, and with a monumental fanbase clamouring to see Eddie Howe’s men hopefully raise their first domestic trophy in 68 years, they could sell that number twice over. The thorny issue of how the club allocates those tickets has sparked huge debate online. While Newcastle haven’t officially revealed how many season ticket holders they have this year, estimates suggest it is around 35,000, meaning there could be some disappointed fans who miss out on the game.“

Decisions for sure. Senior managers (DoF, manager, owner) all going different directions and wanting differing things from players, hence why, for example the one year they spent a shitload on three different no.10s. They’ve spent a huge amount, but mainly on dross. Plus the new stadium etc

I forgot that part of the condition of sale for Chelsea was that a specified amount of cash had to be spent on the team. Wonder how much of that figure they have left for the next window? edit- and if there was a contractual timescale for the spending?

McTominays injured at the moment. Supposedly just out for a week or two, but you never know.

Aye- loan until end of the season with no option. The player doesn’t get in the team much in Germany? Man Utd were offered Isco, Saul, Carrasco, Aouar, and wanted to sign Gravenberch but he didn’t want to leave, according to Sky

Hasn’t done too badly since the takeover, and seemed to get his head together and do the extra work to get fit. However, for me, the lasting memory was when he pathetically and aimlessly floated that last minute free kick when Lewis Dunk was in goal for Brighton when Howe was about to sign. Wont miss him.
