He's with the England under 21's along with Miley. Hopefully Howe/Bunce have given the England set up instructions about his work load after these comments.
-
The save low to Eze was elite, but the rest were saves that id expect any half decent prem keeper to save.
-
Taking the upcoming fixtures into account, id say there's a chance he doesn't start, or there might be a 1st 45 only type of idea in place. The next 2 will be the games he starts, then maybe have another rest in our cup defense.
-
It requires pressing out of possession, unless he is tasked with dropping onto the opposition 6. On the ball though, ball into feet, runners off him, options to drop it back into midfield, it's not a physical as that system Germany played, and I wouldnt be shocked if we see 2 very different styles of wing play when Woltemade is 9 compared to Wissa..
-
Wor Sandro with the late winner in a crazy game
-
The system Germany played last night need a physical monster as the 9 for the striker to look decent. Its a pace and/or power role, that's just not Woltemade game. Trust me when I say, in our 4-3-3 or in a 4-2-3-1 this guy will look class within a few weeks for us.

Only 30 mins in, but this is the worst I've seen him play. Is this his 1st full start at home?
-
He's not looking good at all for me today. Not going to completely write him off, but if he had put up this showing after paying £30mil+ for him, I'd feel like it was a little bit of a waste

We need to terrorize these from the moment they get into the city, make it uncomfortable for them as humanly possible and them put them to the sword on the pitch. Once the game is won, a Dan Burn red for snapping Ekitike in 2

I like the approach we have taken with him, after his shuttles he was doing after his 45 against Athleti, I have no fears about his fitness. That would have been to get 90 mins of mileage into his legs and gauge the reaction his body has. That says to me, he's ready to play, but they're making 100% sure we wont have another set back. If he says fit he'll be in team of the season.
-
I can see him trying the 3 at the back, as we haven't been thay successful away at Villa
-
Not sure who that stops him having a similar impact. It'll affect his long term contribution, but not impact.
-
Im also not concerned about his crossing, he took set pieces for Forest. So, I expect that his delivery will be decent once fully up to speed.
-
Maybe im naive, but i have no fear of these. They're a decent side, and we dont seem to have the best time at Villa park, but I think we go there and win next weekend.
-
I know it said a lot on this forum, but this feels like the most fitting time to say it for me. "He could have a similar impact to Craig Bellamy"
-
I know numerous people who rate him very highly, and have watched him myself, which shows how in a completely different light.
-
I'm curious as to why people think he's crap? Ive seen him make a few mistakes, but also be class in games. AC have upped their price this summer because of how impressed the new manager has been with him. He's not someone id describe as prem certified or a guarantee, but he could easily come in and be class from the off.

Surely that's 3 at the back with Lascelles flanked by Botman and 1 of Trips or Ashby. -

Anyone know a channel this is on at all? Can't seem to find it -
Panic sunk in when he went down after the slip, that would have been an absolute nightmare.
