He had a few "you don't get those at Old Trafford" moments when trying to buy free kicks. Outside of that, he was class, and getting him on the ball 30 yard further up the pitch on a consistent basis means we'll always look more dangerous in attack. Also, his duel winning ability means he's winning in or on the edge of the final 3rd, which is massive.

I believe he is the hybrid, could play either the Tonali or Bruno role. I think initially see him playing more of the Bruno role until Howe is sure he knows the posititioning for the DM role. If we sell either of Willock or Longstaff we'll need to replace them with someone who can play a similar role, unless there's someone in the under 23s lined up to step in as cover.

Delighted with what he's done with the team to turn round the form. Really hope we keep going and get Europe because I can see the owner pulling the trigger if we're not in any European competition. I'll follow that up by saying, I don't want that to happen. He's the perfect fit for us, and want him here long term. If there's money to spend, I want him to be the one building the team with it.

No Mainoo isn't, have you watched him at all since his breakout few months? He has no pace, no positioning, and gives the ball away as much if not more than Longstaff. Onana might be good with the ball at his feet, but he is a crap goalkeeper. Good goalkeeper 1st, ball player second is the only way to pick a GK.

Will be so annoying if we don't win this now, both of their best 2 CMs are out, we should completely dominate them in their now. That said, we do need a RB fit for this.

Fake Bruno is OK, but definitely doesn't fit as a LCM for us, so that's a no Onana is crap, no need to expand on that Mainoo would be in and around Miley and longstaff, and I'm not even sure he's much better than them, if at all. He's not even remotely close to either Joe Diallo where has this hype come from?? He's mainly rubbish and had a decent moment now and again. Murphy as frustrating as he can be giving the ball away, Daillo does the same and is less of a threat. Would rather take Garnacho.

It depends where they stay. They don't share rooms, but at times they will share a suite or share an apartment type of thing while staying away. It's not asking them to share a twin in the Premier Inn type of thing. Mainly done for team bonding, and sometimes when you do have someone that may like a late night or could get up too late there's someone to keep them in line a little more.

I don't think they were getting at him being a bad egg at all, it's more that's he's just full of energy, and unless you're of a similar way, he would be a terrible roommate. Which is a fair point.

We've seen him be class, let's not pretend any different. Very few players can produce moments like the pass to Isak in the crazy Tottenham match, the goal away to Man U, the run for the winner against Leicester. Keep him fit, build him back up, and we'll see him be class again.

His only problem is that we're comparing him technically and attacking wise to the full back on the other side. His defending is class, as is his pace and power driving both ways. He'll get better going forward given time, he's still only 22

Confused by those not seeing that he could end up being class. Yes, he'll make mistakes, and not be as quick or as strong as fully fledged adult Premier league players, but he's never rushed. Infact, when he gets the ball the whole game around him seems to slow down (that's a very rare attribute to have), he makes the right decision most of the time, uses both feet, has and eye for pass, decent shot on him, and is still 18 Yrs old. Be as negative as you want, he is one of the best midfield prospects in the country.

I still think we get more than we paid, as he's now proven he's a decent level premier league player. Unfortunately he's dropping into the group of players you'd accept letting get to help fund improvements.

We need to see that version of him consistently, class when he plays like that.

Full speed Willock starts, this version doesn't, and if Mikey keeps coming on and looking assured he could end up being 3rd choice for LCM behind for Joelinton and Miley. Really hope he find his form again.

Back to looking like a very good football team. Hall class again, Bruno and Tonali as combining more and more as the games go, Miley looks like such a classy player, and looks massive now. So many positives from that, only down side is little Joe still not quite looking back to his old self, but it's more minutes in the legs.

After what was done with Hall we've got to trust the process, but today seemed ideal to give Osula minutes

Not sure if it's the weather, but we've actually looked frustratingly sloppy in possession, and missed 2 great chances. That said, we're creating plenty and they haven't got too much going the other way. Hopefully, we add a few more 2nd half.

Watching City today I'd argue the other way, they need someone to make them play quick and try to unlock a defence. They need a Bruno type 8 and better defenders.
