If we're spending in Jan it has to be RW and then GK and then LCM/CB. Come the end of the summer we need have covered all 4 of those, plus another controller for the 6 role to develop, and a back up right back if Trips leaves and Krafth can't stay fit. Also, replacing anyone that leaves.

He had already played near 100 games I'm senior football, his talent was raw in the respect that it wasn't something that was coached, and that never changed throughout his whole career.
-
That was weird, I've got a mate whose a ref. Should be on a pod with him Monday, so definitely asking on that when we do our VAR/officials segment.
-
His rawness will be his main attribute I think, teams won't know what he's going to do at any point. If he can sharpen up his decision making, he'll be a real asset. He's kind of in the Obafemi Martins mould of rawness, where it will never fully disappear.

23 of those was him to Schar and back in a 20 second spell
-
Love him further forward he's playing the hard passes in areas that mean the transition would hurt us a lot less, and they are more likely to lead to clear cut chances. If he can keep doing that and not step on Sandro's toes, and we then add another threat or get Willock back to his 100% we have a top level midfield.
-
Was class today, need more of that.
-
Any doubt, take a touch, knee over through ball, foot through it. He did exactly that, the touch made the 2nd.
-
He is the exact definition of a midfield maestro, need him playing in the 6 either as a single or double pivot, but not with Bruno. He controls the game pace so well, love Bruno and he is class, but he's too forward thinking to control games like Tonali does.
-
His turn around today was Elite level mentality from him, 1st 25 mins he looked shaky and the LB jumped on him and nicked it most of the time he got the ball. Then came the excellent finish, which is hard after a poor start, he was class from then on.
-
Decent half, cut out the few sloppy moments, and we should put a few more past these.
-
You sure you watching the same game? Gave it away most of the times he touched the ball, and he wasn't even trying to do anything creative with it. Then that 2nd chance was an awful attempt.
-
Lovely pass, even better finish. Exceptional finish really given the start he had made
-
Lovely finish after the worst possible start for him. Fair play lad

Looking like a competition winner atm

Tbh this is the type of game we win this season. They've been excellent at home, and are unbeaten there.
-
Subs came to late, but other than that it was spot on. Have to stick with Tonali as mainly the 6, and Bruno as an 8, with them switching briefly at times. Bruno passing in the final 3rd will create us more chances. I think Willock in for Joelinton could be out best 3, would like to see how it works.
-
Feeling annoyed after that, so many little things. Only 1 team seemed to get any advantage played. The pen decision, which once it's given like it should have been is a 2nd yellow . The choice of when to end the game 2nd load of subs coming so late. Numerous players being allowed to put both hands on players and get away with it. (Mainly Salah and Van Dijk on whoever) The Van Dijk on Gordon moment, which in no way was an accident So many little things seemed to go against us.
-
Not sure what's funny? Great goal, but for a long time before that, and not just tonight he's been doing very odd things in the final 3rd
-
What is going on with him in the final 3rd?
-
Surely this stamps his name on the team sheet, he's been class
-
His form has feel off a cliff. Body language is terrible, making horrible decisions, gives us nothing atm.
-
Have Palace always just fouled to break up play instead of actually trying to play football? Also, Barnes has already shown why he should be playing, his decision making is by far the best of the wide men.
-
I know he's playing more in the 10/right right half space, but Omari Hutchinson looks class. I wonder if he could he do a job on the right for us.
