  1. I've played with a few players over the years, where it just seems to click. 1 of them I didn't even get on with at all off the pitch. It's brilliant to see, Isak had similar building with Willock before his string of injuries.
  2. This feels massive for top 3/4 chances. The 3 league game after are as tough as they come. So, we need to get this little run off to a start. 7 from the next 3 league games would be a great return

    Tino Livramento

Get him in the Kyle Walker delivery training. If there's no easy cut back, smash it along the edge of the 6 yard box.
  4. If he scored that on his balancing peg I'd still be laughing now.
  5. Today was a, just getting win type of day, and we did that. Some nice cameos off the bench as well as some lovely bits of play throughout the game. Final thing in the game, Sandro is different class! The way he sets off after winning a header, to go and score is awesome
  6. Exactly. No idea why he hasn't done it already, such an easy solution.
  7. Surely, if there's no money to spend, Amorim should just pay for players himself.
  8. Must win if we want Champions league. The fact they play nice football and don't sit back might play into our hands, they're not as direct as Bournemouth, won't have as much bite and have nowhere near as much quality at the top end of the pitch. Should be a comfortable win, if we're back on it. Schar for Burn, but unchanged outside of that for me. Bringing Trips in isn't a good idea as they have bags of pace out wide.
  9. Saw this pop up and thought he was starting
  10. Looked rusty, but he hasn't played for ages, so that's understandable. I thought he did on in the main, and is our 2nd best option at LB, good to see him back playing, as he uses the ball well normally when he gets it..

    Joe Willock

Annoying, as today would have been a great game for him to get his touch and passing back a bit. Hopefully, it's minor, and he can feature in the next few games.
  12. The way he moves reminds me of Eze, needs a good loan to develop that playing strength, and learn when to pass and when to best a man. Looks a very good prospect though.
  13. Played well beyond his years for me, can forgive him for the goal as he hasn't played very many minutes at all recently. It was like he was asked to play the 6 the same way Tonali does today, by keeping the ball moving as much as possible, and not forcing it forward unless certain. I think we would have been even better if Trips and then Bruno when he came on didn't keep taking up similar positions, which, ad senior players you'd kind of expect them to want to rake control in an under strength team.
  14. He has his uses, but surely today is when Miley steps infront of him in the pecking order. As 6th choice CM, he's not the worst option to have. Not many clubs in the league will have a better option that far down the pecking order.

    Harvey Barnes

If it is an injury I'd be weirdly happy with that. If he had be subbed by Howe, without that, after playing so few minutes this season, I could have seen him handing in a transfer request.

    Harvey Barnes

If he's been hooked, that could be the end of him here.
  17. Hopefully, we can get the game won early, then get the young lads from the bench on, and also get Big Joe off early as possible
  18. At least 6 for me. I'd worry making 11, especially with what's going on in the Tottenham game atm. We need leaders and a strong experienced spine still
  19. Madueke just doesn't seem like and is signing tbh. I'd take him for the right price, but for 50-60, million I'd want someone with a higher ceiling. Right now I'm not even sure if he's a floor raiser let alone a ceiling raiser.
  20. Love this post, Dubz is clearly a worse shot stopper, but this version of him completes the team. We so close to playing see a pass, play a pass football, and bring Pope back in is step backwards from that..
  21. I agree on the point it's not 1 factor, but it's certainly not luck. I actually think over the last few season we've been unlucky because of when we have faced Man U. We always seem to get them in ok form and this time they should have been on a new manager bounce. Tottenham we beat more often than not since the takeover anyway. I actually believe Dubravka has made us play loads better, when playing out from the back. Unless we have both Schar and Botman playing we're easier to press when Pope gets the ball.
  22. Maybe Man U, but we beat Tottenham more often then not regardless. They only beat us last season, because we were out on our feet from game overload.
  23. This take on luck is pretty crazy, Howe has tweaked the set up slightly each game and teams are finding it hard to combat what we're doing. The defense side of our game has been top draw, across the games he's played Dubravka has had to make about 10 saves (haven't looked at the exact stats). Yes, players have missed chances and shots not been on target, but that's not pure luck. The more you frustrate players, and limit good chances, the more likely they are to snatch at the good ones they do get.
