His form has feel off a cliff. Body language is terrible, making horrible decisions, gives us nothing atm.

Have Palace always just fouled to break up play instead of actually trying to play football? Also, Barnes has already shown why he should be playing, his decision making is by far the best of the wide men.

I know he's playing more in the 10/right right half space, but Omari Hutchinson looks class. I wonder if he could he do a job on the right for us.

I think we will slowly see a transition away from Longstaff starting most games. From the times Tonali has come recently it looks like Howe wants him and Bruno to rotate in the deepest role, and it looks decent when they do it. Once that's done we'll become very fluid, with the front 3 of Joe, Isak and Gordan rotating, midfield 3 of Willock, Bruno and Tonali rotating, with only Bruno or Tonali being the deepest, and also Hall and Joe dipping into areas to overload when we have the ball. It's going to be good to watch if it all clicks. I also think Tonali instantly slots into the Italy team, and looks like the player we bought because it's a more traditional role that he's playing.

If he could produce the same levels from the start, he'd be one of the best players in the league.

Still seems a little off his best, but if the ball drops to him in and around the box he's a big problem. Can't wait for him to be in top gear.

Said ages ago that he was the reason our away form fell off last season. He's running on and off the ball is hard to replace. Being that quick, running with power, while also having good technical attributes is a bit of a cheat code.

Going through the gears now, and it's brilliant to see. Kid is class on the ball, seems to be getting quicker, brave in the block, reads passes so well to nick them. If he keeps up this progression he's going to be a truly Elite LB

Would have preferred Tonali, but he put in a mega shift midweek, unlucky for Kelly as well, as his pace would have been good cover for Hall down the left

Still our best keeper, but he doesn't seem the same GK anymore. Makes great saves, but seems shaky so much more than he used to.

This is going to sound really basic, but we need more running power, and strength in the team. Most teams have a good group starting that have both, I'd say the majority of starting 11 each week has 1 or the other. The season we finished 4th we had a few other in the squad that had it, but now it seems to have completely gone, bar Joelinton and maybe Willock and Tonali.

I also think we were crap today btw, way too lose in possession, slow in transition, with nowhere near enough runners. We have a low block CB+DM, 2 high press 8's, high press wide men and a sometimes high press 9. We're stuck between systems, and it shows. We either need to go 4-2-3-1 or change the personal to suit 1 way of playing. Some hard decisions to be made

2 mistakes from Schar, and also 2 mental moments from Isak. Get rid of any one of those and it's a draw.

Passing is so lax and also we're not engaging properly. It's all so hard arsed. Doesn't help that they get everying bity decision, but we need to be better.

Burn better wake up now. He's been completely roasted twice by Jackson already.

Arguably that's better than the teams that started the last 3 games. Almiron over Murphy will make us look more balanced.

Barnes has got to be fuming with all this now. For me he's looked our most consistently dangerous wide me this season, and he keeps ended up on the bench.

What are the other pictures he's posted? Any sign of sprinting or a ball he'll be in full training early next month at the latest.

He's so comfortable on the ball, makes us hard to press against with him in there because he very rarely gives it away, some of the patterns between, him, Trips, Bruno and Schar are going to be class. Move that a little further up the pitch to included whoever is playing RW and CF and we'll shred teams at times.

I thought he was excellent until about 65 mins when he tired massively, which is understandable after the shift he put in. Get Osula up to speed, Wilson and Miley back. Then when we have days where we expend so much energy, we have enough to not have to keep players on longer than they should be.

Targett, the Greek GK, Sanusi, Oulsa. Get the game won, get Irish Murphy (if fit) and the next most promising youngester off the bench.

Having this home now surely means we see some of the fringe players get game time from the start

1st time I've watched him play, outside of highlights. Based off this, I'd be fuming if we'd paid 35mil.
