Anyone think there’s a chance Ramsdale starts given yet another howler from Pope? im not sure whether I’d be happy with it or not just wondering how Howe would justify it if he didn’t?

Dreading this. I haven’t got much faith we’ll pick up much from Everton. It’s important we start well because the feeling in the fan base is overall pretty low at the minute. I also really like Sesko and was the striker I wanted us to sign this summer - I think I said as much in his thread somewhere. He’s just finding some form now and looks deadly. He’d have been fucking great here if our wingers didn’t lose the ability to create.

Gutted that last minute paper work error got sorted with a minute to spare. We’d have been fuming at the time but literally no worse off on the pitch and £50m to spend in January - probably on Wissa

His career is finished here if this midfield thing persists. We either need to play him up front with wingers prepared to get beyond him like Gordon and Barnes similar to how Bayern operate with Kane or change the formation so he’s got a direct number 10 that’s going to be making runs in behind off his flicks - A Delle Alli style, Morgan Rogers player. He isn’t a 10 for me as his mobility is too poor. Im convinced there’s a top level player there but we either play a system to his strengths or move him on.

Yep. Both shite and conceding so many poor goals from them has participated in killing key points of our games. Whoever gets a run in the team my brain will convince me the other is better.

Darlow had quite a few before he was replaced by Dubravka but got to be honest I’m struggling to remember as many clear goalkeeping errors as Pope.

Too many of these this season. Thought Howe got it wrong from the off. Players playing out of position all over. I don’t think you can blame him for the goals we conceded or the manner which we caved. I’m fucking sick of some of these players and I’m usually pretty positive. Seems daft given what we’ve got to come still and there’s probably a lot of post-game blues but I can’t wait for this season to be finished. Get a summer window, a pre-season and rid of some of these players.

Not sure we can keep playing people out of their positions and hoping it’s fine. Wolt in midfield, Gordon up front, Joelinton left wing. I usually feel fairly positive as a lot can change in game with so much time to go but not sure what we do in this one. Barnes on at half time seems like a minimum.

I think that’s why I’m so frustrated watching this because they’re obviously shite but we’re managing to be worse.
