I think it’ll be another ugly win for us today. I don’t think you can emphasise how difficult our start has been enough and think we’ll resemble something closer to what we’re used to seeing today.

It’s kind of how I’ve viewed the start of the season. Fine margins and we could easily have got something in the last two games had we scored the chances we should have put away. Momentum is massive though so next game is a must win.

Awful but wouldn’t be surprised to see us sort ourselves out and come back and get something.

9 for me. I’ve still got question marks over the ASM for Barnes transfer but I guess it was necessary to also open up the ability to sign Livramento. Honestly I think he’s been one of the worst signings over the past 10 years or so. Signed on a free but on reportedly high wages. He’s offered almost nothing aside from a brief spell of effort when Howe first took over and went scrambling back to the self-interested whinger he is as soon as it didn’t go his way. The way he messed Bournemouth around was a massive red flag and he certainly wouldn’t pass the unofficial no dick heads rule the we have in signing players. Shite

Don’t agree with Ferguson but I get the basis of the point he was making. I wouldn’t go as far as he did. Villa looked decent to me until they capitulated playing the high line in the second half. I wouldn’t be concerned if I was a Villa fan. The score line was fair though. Fergie is delusional, it could have been more.

I didn’t want us to sign him when we were linked but Tielemans could never have played for us under Howe. Isn’t physical enough, doesn’t cover enough ground, isn’t dynamic. Got shown up by our midfield yesterday.

Didn’t want to to sign him. I was prepared to give him a chance because of his age. I’m pleased to say I was wrong. His pressing was one of the main reasons we won. If he can continue he’s gonna be a hell of a player. He’s got to be our starting left winger.
