Missed the game last night but was surprised to see he’d opted for Gordon over any of our strikers - hopefully it acts as a kick up the arse to them now we got the win. Was at a gig in Manchester and managed to keep up with the score from looking over the shoulder of 3 Man U fans desperately refreshing the scores on their phone mid set

I’m massively pro-Howe. I don’t want him sacked and think he deserves at least until part through next season to sort things out. I’ve got a guilty pleasure for Mourinho though I think he’s an absolute genius and even when talking tactics now he’s clear of so many other top managers. His name was tarnished after his last couple of spells in England but he’s essentially been proven right given the trajectory of the clubs after he left. I’d love him here one day but I think the ship has sailed.

I thought it was just post-match rage but I’d genuinely start Osula over our other strikers if he’s still going with a 433. The preference would be a change of system but if he’s sticking with that Osula is probably going to be the most dynamic until he burns out.

Not really sure what point you’re making and I’m not being a dick here? Is it that it hasn’t affected Brentford? Because if so Isak is literally a world class striker and Wissa is arguably one of the worst forward purchases I’ve seen for us and we’ve had some proper duds. The significance each had to their respective clubs is vast.

Oh come on. There’s always shit takes after bad results but Jesus Christ. The guy literally dragged our summer through the mud and takes his portion of blame for the turmoil and the over the barrel position we found ourselves in. The club could have handled it better and been more realistic in what was likely but saying Isak has no blame is wild.

Tactically I thought he got it really wrong today - same in some of the away games but most of the pressure has come from poor momentum from absolutely glaring chances we’ve missed and shit goals we’ve conceded. Not all of that is on Howe.
