One of the things that has really pissed me off in these takeover sagas over the past couple of years is it’s always us as fans that’s strung on and has the piss taken out of us for a certain extent. We hear snippets of info and then papers like the chronicle rehash any slight bit of info for clicks. We get told nothing from the club. Nothing from the bidders and then it just fizzles out without actually finding out what the reason is. Same with the Dubai based group, Stavely, Kenyon and now this Saudi group. Some of them even using the fan base as a sort of pawn.

He always was. He's done nothing but lower expectations since coming in. The only thing that separates him from Pardew is he's a Geordie which the knuckle draggers in our support lapped up. Disagree to a certain extent. Both poor managers but Bruce has (had) certain likeable qualities. He’s clearly good on a personal level with the players whereas Pardew couldn’t help be a pure odious narcissistic prick at every opportunity that was presented to him. Bruce is just in the same situation as McClaren. He’s way over his head and the pressure is clearly getting to him.

I think we’ll be in the mix to go down come the end of the season. Hopefully not but I’m struggling to see how we can keep this form up and still get points.

Also said he’s changed it two or three times and we’ve been badly beaten. So basically he’s holding onto what they can remember from Rafa’s tactics and seeing what happens.
