I think Bruce is a crap manager but I don’t get the feeling he’s lie about something like that. Maybe I’m wrong. I can’t think of anyone we’ve been linked with that would be around that fee.

I haven’t been paying too close attention to the last couple of England squads despite watching the games but is Rose still involved in the set-up? Or has Southgate replaced him? I guess there isn’t a ton of top quality English fullbacks but coming up here doesn’t seem a good move if you’re interested in international football. Southgate has picked everyone with an English passport over Lascelles who’s been head and shoulders over most of them.

Saw Armstrong’s name crop up a few times lately. Pleased to see he’s doing well in the Championship, he always looked like he had something.

Really don’t dislike Luke Edwards like some do but this article seems like a bit of a cunt thing to do: I know there’s some on here turning on Longstaff but it’s not all that surprising to me that a player who thrived in a compact Rafa system with organised pressing has now lost confidence in a team where the gap between the forward and the midfield is massive, we can’t keep the ball and we press in odd haphazard patters. But let’s blame the young lad eh ?

Hopefully we can get an early couple of goals and get Miggy off at half time.

Despite everything going on with the owner and questions over the manger it’s really nice to see a player that actually visibly wants to play for us and thrive doing so. It’d be a real disappointment if we didn’t sign him permanently.

Just read that list and wouldn’t be surprised if we just used Aarons on wing back cover for Richie.

Potentially a good move for us. Maybe a midfielder who can carry the ball forward will help breach the massive gap between everyone else and the front three. Could also turn out absolutely shit. I used to really rate him back when he was at Spurs but haven’t really followed him since.

Can anyone think of a realistic left back we could go for that would be decent and likely to move to us? My player knowledge isn’t what it used to be and I’m drawing a blank.

Think this is another one of those losses (a bit like Richie) that at the time people don’t see the value of having him in the team or as an option. He’s a really solid defender and I’ve just seen Willems is crocked too so if we don’t sign a replacement we could be in real trouble.

Just read the Choudry links and I really hope we avoid him. I can’t remember who they were playing last week but he nearly wiped someone else out with a reckless tackle. He’s red cards waiting to happen and I don’t want him to learn that lesson on loan to us.
