Was more wondering if people realised the irony paying for season tickets but getting on the case of a player backing the owner. Also expecting an amazing atmosphere this season given those deciding to keep going to back the team. I’m guessing all the sighs at missed passes and booing out of form players will be long gone...

First bit of actual good news since the season ended. His attitude given his off-field problems has been impeccable and we look way better when he’s on his game.

But harsh lumping Carroll in with those two. He’s a proven decent Premier League striker but has been hampered by injuries. Joelinton, Gayle and Carroll is about as good as we’re going to get?

Given our situation and lack of numbers signing Carroll on a free is probably a no brainer.

Really unpopular opinion but I quite like Edwards. I don’t think he’s always right or agree with what he says but he doesn’t try and pander to the fans and when he says something his sources are usually spot on. He doesn’t seem to hang on the coat tails of other journalists’s speculation that most of the north east journos do. It’s quite well documented he’s Bruce’s mate though so I’m finding his biased pro-Bruce stuff a bit insufferable at the minute.

Suppose you’re right. I’ve cancelled and that won’t change unless there’s a change of owner. At the same time I don’t want us to be turboshit and plummet down the leagues because I don’t think being relegated increasing the chance for Ashley to sell.
