Interesting reading lots of Brighton fan comments saying it was over exaggerated what he actually did behind the scenes. I’m not sure how true this is and if it’s just bitter fans (like some of us). He does seem extraordinarily good at PR so would be curious to find to find out what he’s actually done for us.

Found him unbearable when he was talking about him months ago as someone he’d want at the club.

It’s a shame Ragnick is in management because I’d have liked his direction despite his managerial shortcomings.

I think his loss would be unfortunate but probably over exaggerated. There’s other directors out there who’ve been successful and I’m confident we’ll get someone capable. I’m more disappointed he appears to be jumping ship without actually achieving anything here. He’s clearly been twerking for that Man U role for a while given the leaks and its clearly a step up in role for someone like him. It does potentially raise a question about the scope of our Saudi project if he’s prepared to leave something like that for majority Glazers owned club.

I don’t think Billing gets in over any of our midfielders when all are fit. I don’t think he’s much of an upgrade to Longstaff and any minutes he gets would hamper Miley/Anderson. Total waste of time transfer.

Murphy and Barnes on will get the job done I think. Confident we’ll get it done.

Under the radar given the Burn situation but I think Almiron is real lucky to be starting over Murphy. He needs to do something.

I like Burn and I don’t mind Howe’s loyalty to players as it’s got us where we are but eventually it becomes clear when someone isn’t ideal anymore. He’s always struggled against pace and it’s now so bad it’s costing us games. Burn will be ideal for backup to Botman and the lb position but it’s got to be Tino for the rest of the season now.
