Werner to Spurs seems like an obviously good transfer to me. I also think he would have suited Howe‘s style of play.

I’m just catching up with the fallout from this and they’ve almost outdone themselves in terms of fan reaction. Maybe if they didn’t base their entire identity on hating the mags it wouldn’t have been so all consuming for them.

Not a fan of moving Gordon to the rw when he’s been our only reliable threat on the left but it just shows how badly Miggy has played that we’re having to mix things up so much. Joelinton further up could be a good thing though.

Seen him a few times and wished we’d followed up to sign him in the summer.

I think I said on here in the summer I thought we should have sold him as his stock would never be higher for ffp reasons and he’s definitely flopped that price tag now. I’m not really a fan of his but I think he’d be a useful squad player. He should really be in the Murphy role because that RW position has needed upgrading for ages. Neto or Raphina for me in the summer. I don’t think we’d get either in January.

I’m still absolutely baffled that after watching Chris Wood for so long, trying to convince myself his work rate was beneficial, even while he was missing sitters every week, and then he watch him score a fucking hat trick against us yesterday. I don’t even dislike that guy but where was that when he played here.

Were it not for late goals against PSG and Chelsea our seasons looks loads different but losing away to Luton and home to Forest so convincingly is going to raise questions for any manager. Worrying it feels like ages when we’ve played well for consistently. I’m as bored as anyone of hearing it but it’s clearly the injury crisis that’s caused the fatigue. I think it’s just gonna be one of those season where you have to accept it isn’t going to be a great one.

It’d be a massive shame if he’s left already as from what is noticeable he hasn’t really achieved anything compared to what he had in place at Brighton. I had a bad feeling when he was very publicly touted by Man U not too long ago. Gary Neville very publicly backed him for it after they spoke at a game. I’m not worried though. We’re an ambitious club with powerful backers and there’s other sporting directors out there. It’s not like we’re in a Brighton type situation.
