  1. Can definitely see Duff managing in England down the line, be a perfect successor to the likes of Dyche and Pulis
  2. Shels and Duff win the league, definition of grinding it out all season Galway finish 5th - best season in 20+ years - bit surreal having both the teams I support performing competitively at the top level tbh
  3. I have a Galway season ticket, weirdly felt like we had an outside chance of winning it (or at least getting a Europe spot) a few weeks ago - but not to be. Great to see the league thriving at the minute. St Pats also going to be very strong next season based off current form and with Stephen Kenny in charge, hard to break the Dublin cartel.
  4. Aye, be a bit crap if Rovers won it given they've been mediocre at best all season but it's been an insanely competitive season even if there's been no clear standout team. I've got Galway on, currently losing 1-0 to Bohs
  5. League of Ireland decider tonight, Damien Duff's Shelbourne favs to win the league as it stands EDIT: Just read the above - wasn't expecting the LoI chat lol, bit more trivia then - former Liverpool and England U21 defender Andre Wisdom be starting for Derry City against Duff's Shels
  6. Much more like the man I want to love last night, oozes class when he's playing like that
  7. We've been a bit better than at Stamford Bridge which is good but Chelsea have been a lot worse and we still look one step away from a crisis at the back, they've also gifted us both our goals
  8. Bruno and Sandro situation a bit like the old Demba and Papiss conundrum but in midfield instead of up front?
  9. No prob with the idea that Longstaff improves us in intangible ways, but surely there's someone out there who can do his hard yards and also have a bit more general quality too
  10. As long as we don't get Darren Ambrose on comms again I'll take it tbh
  11. Always remembered Ambrose fairly fondly for scoring a few screamers when he played for us, he's pissing all over that with his monologues here though
  12. Apart from swingin' Todd B, I can't truly hate Chelsea until they're consistently good and Maresca has accumulated enough bad will in the bank, probably not far off sadly

    Vakhtang Salia

    10/10 would Vakhtang
  14. Was probably first time that I really doubted Howe a bit today, too many obvious issues that aren't being rectified. Still think anyone calling for sack is on the crazy side, barring an absolute capitulation he deserves until the end of the season at the very least
  15. Still think a player of his quality and skill set should be able to adapt to a different role and make more of an impact than he has thus far. Too early to make much judgement either way really, just bit underwhelmed, appreciate it's difficult for anyone to look great in this team currently
  16. Tonali is a bit of an enigma for me, want to love him and he seems capable of doing it all but still feels like he might be causing more problems than he's solving
  17. Meh. When Chelsea are good they're very good but they're still very shaky. We just look shaky
  18. Should be a yellow for simulation in a sensible world
  19. Saved us the pain on a dodgy VAR decision
  20. I don't want him on either but if Longstaff has contributed what Tonali has he'd be getting pelters tbf
  21. Murphy and Longy coming on to boost morale on here
