Likable lad, got some strengths to his game but also some glaring weaknesses, tries his best but sadly is not good enough long term, is still good to have around the squad for the time being. Same comments apply to several of the current squad tbh
-
Massively better but had some similarities in that nothing went our way when it needed to and felt resigned to defeat once we had gone behind (that is probably just me though)
-
Deflated today but proud nevertheless, everything else aside we do look increasingly toothless going forward now and are struggling to create decent chances compared to earlier in season, obviously being 2-0 down against a well organised defence made the situation much harder yesterday but it's been a fairlt common theme lately, Miggy's form was obviously unsustainable but we really need someone to step up and start contributing goals from somewhere, especially with Wilson looking increasingly labored
-
Has sort of looked like a changed man since the new management came in so it is good that he leaves before having the chance to prove that all bullshit and that he is still a liability. No ill will towards him now he is finally leaving, hopefully he can play a part for Forest.

As much as I agree that fans of teams are generally best positioned to make judgements on their players, are we really saying that GrandOldTeam is a valid reference point (for anything)
-
Weasel faced arse with zero redeeming qualities, he'll do brilliant here. Least I can now stop compulsively checking this thread every 30 minutes now it looks like it is agreed

This new found obsession with scientific time keeping is a bit tiresome. Stopping the clock when ball is out of play will change very little in terms of game flowing, teams will still manufacture stoppages to take a breather and regroup - it might actually be worse if there is reduced urgency to restart play (on account of clock being stopped)

Miggy trying to use his right foot?

Don't think Portugal would go off favs against England or France in the SF, be fairly tight but they're probably dogs in both scenarios
-
Disappointing lack of excessive dance based celebrations tbh
-
Portugal have to go without Ronaldo again in next round, unquestionably better without him despite what his army of danger acolytes (and sponsors) may think
-
No real skin in the game, I don't have any issue with exaggerated dancing as a celebration and definitely more important stuff to be getting bothered about but the fact Brazil did big extended celebrations after every single goal when going up 4-0 inside the first 40 mins against relative minnows did seem to be leaning a bit too heavy on the bravado for me

Better spectacle than I expected, need a Poland goal ASAP in second half
-
Who is this team and what have they done with the Poland that played the last three matches
-
Netherlands are probably favs against this Argentina for me
-
Was looking at the guy ducked down running along inside the advertising boards and totally missed that
-
Did I just see Tim Krul in the crowd?
-
Definitely not a vintage Dutch side with the exception of a few players but they're executing a game plan and have exploited US weaknesses well. US should still get more chances but hard to see them not conceding again if things continue in similar vein.

Peter Walton on to say its definitely the right decision
-
Morocco look capable of giving anyone a match tbf, some weaknesses in midfield but very solid everywhere else

Just came to comment on Saudi price looking big, had a bit on KSA draw no bet @ 3/1
