  1. None of the Reporters are worth a monkey's fuck, there either fed shit or make shit up, ffs you can't even believe the BBC news anymore, it's all political propaganda, the media have never been held in high regard, but the advent of online advertising and fake news, has really reached depths of utter disgracefully sensationalised and morally removed from any decency or responsibility!

    Anthony Gordon

He certainly has the mongrel about him, loves to disrupt and wind up defenders! Come to think about it, he's got some bottle for a 21yr old All the good teams have a enforcer, could Gordon be a Joey Barton?
  3. Eddie's press conference...... Anybody else think Eddie was bubbling when asked about any incoming transfers, he definitely wasn't defensive, if anything there was a hint of a grin! especially when he explained any incoming player need to be premier league ready, though that doesn't rule out an overseas player! Also, he'd like to think the player would excite the supporters. I reckon or hope there's a big transfer in the offing.
  4. Mitro is a Mag, he's good enough and belongs at Newcastle United....... The Heart is powerful motivator.

    Joelinton

Not trying to downplay Joe’s drink driving charge, although to be clear honest, I’m not full bottle on the U.k. Road laws…… I’ll also be honest and admit I’ve drunk and driven many many times, not deliberately, but sometimes things get out of hand. Haven’t done it for a long time, but I’ve probably been close to the limit at times. Hope the Club don’t discipline Joe too severely, maybe that’s a selfish thing to say on my behalf, but one things for sure, Joe is a confidence player, hopefully compassionate help to identify if there is a problem or if this incident is a one off. “Let him without sin cast the first stone”
  6. Longy is turning into good player, he's getting better and better, his defensive covering and his attacking support play, has really turned him int a box-to-box mid-field player.
  7. Think it was ones each........ Funny game that Shrewsbury away game, strange strange day....... It was also the same day I met a Cockney Mag, no one's gonna believe this story but this is the gods honest truth, on my life........pinky swear! The Cockney Mag lived in the Earls Court area, in that there London........ He telt me a story about supporting Newcastle and travelling from Kings Cross and Newcastle fans being ambushed by Chelsea at the train station, he said he'd been hurt badly in the past from a Chelsea ambush........".bare in my I'm talking mid 80s here" He lifted his shirt up and showed me two knife scars that ran the length of his back! Here's the kicka........"The Cockny Mag who followed Newcastle far and wide was BLIND! .........i'm not talking hard of sight, there was only the whites of his eyes showing, he was completely Blind. Naturally I asked him ,why does a Blind Londoner follower the Toon, he said for the atmosphere and excitement he felt from the Newcastle support! To tell the truth, meeting the lad was a very humbling experience. Anyone wanna hear the story about driving to a Millwall game with a one legged lad in the boot because his one foot stunk to high heaven,..........once again it's the gods loving truth! I absolutely loved following the lads around the country, football was shit but the memories will live with me forever.........:Howay the Lads!"
  8. Eddie has turned our players, into top class players with confidence, Dan Burns goal last night was what dreams are made of ........a Newcastle supporter scoring Infront of the Gallowgate End! Really proud of all the lads, players backroom staff, the owners, the whole lot of them, nothings more infectious than a Smile and Eddie has got us all smiling from ear to ear! Tale from the dark ages..........sometime in the 80s, I'd been out on the piss, Friday night and were playing Shrewsbury Town away the next day on the Saturday, just got home and someone's braying on the front, it's the lads saying howay were going to Shrewsbury..... We hitch hiked down, took a while, 5 drunken Geordies thumbing a lift wasn't the best idea were ever had..........people didn't seem keen on stopping for some reason! Got to Shrewsbury and we were absolutely hacky, found a cafe and the best thing about the bacon pieces was the grease cleaned our hands.. Got the ground early just in time for the Newcastle bus to arrive, players were nice enough, nodded and smiled....... Our trainer, bucket and sponge fella was the old Man U coach, Tommy Cavanah, he'd been with Tommy Doc for donkeys' years afore he joined us.........anyhow... dippy bollocks here said to Tommy as he made his way into the ground. "How Tommy we gonna win the day?". he said.........."How the fuck would I know! We'd hitch hiked god knows how many miles to follow the Toon and the Man U cunt, couldn't have given a fuck for the supporters. Eddies boys aren't like that, they appreciate the supporters, God Bless him and everyone involved in Newcastle United FC One last thing, Tommy Cavanah wasn't a lone duck, many many more disrespected the support, Malcolm Macdonald wa one of my first favourite players, after he got selt to Arsenal he said in a media interview he disliked be called "SuperMac" by the Newcastle fans........ungrateful fucker! There was one fella however, someone who, if Eddie Howe reaches the esteemed hights of adoration this legend reached, Eddie will become a Newcastle Legend......... his name ........KEVIN KEEGAN!
  9. He should have been chased, never give a mug a second chance
  10. These lads' are something else, magnificent displays that make me feel proud! The amount of work the Lads must put in organising then setting up the displays are mind boggling, the deserve medals as big as dustbin lads! Cheers Lads!
  11. I've a lot of time for the Kiwi, there's definitely a player in there, he's definitely not what you would call explosive though! Maybe he's not a good fit for a possession-based team?
  12. any truth in the isak injury set back story? can't do the link thing, but according to Oliver Holt Isak will not be ready until the end of Jan! Sorry should have said, I read it on the NewsNow website.
  13. Enough with the doom and gloom, on another day we could have walloped Leeds! Other than the lack of finishing, in the second half we played well, we created a lot of chances, but luck deserted us! You get games like that, Leeds did what they had to do, they really frustrated us, that's football and let's not forget the 20% possession and backs to the wall of the Newcastle of old! Two points dropped is a real shame, but a draws a draw and other than that the team played canny in my humble opinion!
  14. Going be a really interesting barometer this game, is Arsenal really a better team than Newcastle? Are we better than we realise, or do we have to drastically improve to trouble the better teams? If we beat them, the growing speculation is going to explode! A draw is my expectation, Arsenal will come out all guns blazing (pun) they'll find us hard to break down, later in the game Maxi will put them on the back foot and we'll take the game to them! End of last season we really schooled them, can we do it again?............Eddie will go for the win, he always does, having said that. I'm expecting another draw!
  15. Cheers for the link, I'm all for Maddison, I think he'll definitely strengthen us, not so keen on Tielemans, didn't look too keen against us and wasn't impressed with Willock's physical pressure.
  16. Where has the Tielemans speculations come from, or is it tittle tattle ?
  17. Best player I've ever seen, sublime skills, strength and balance. As a kid I was in awe of Pele and was shocked to see he was only 5ft 10in, he seemed a giant on the football pitch. R.I.P. a true Great of the beautiful game.

    Joelinton

Joe has got terrific strength on the ball, his physique is obvious, but his all-round balance is outstanding!
  19. Was at the 76 Final, we were unlucky. When City lifted the Cup, all you could hear was the Blaydon Races booming out from the massed ranks of the Geordies....... After the game I was boozing down Victoria Station, the City supporters were in awe of our support, and one admitted he had tears hearing the Geordie anthem being belted out Dennis Tuert King of all Geordies, the City support sang.
  20. Struggling to believe people are doubting Maxi, on his day he's unplayable. All flare players are confidence driven, if Eddie plays him off the bench his form will return. Nowt so fickle as folk, Maxi returns to form and people will be licking his hoop again!

Never knew the Feds and State governments financially support the AFL, live and learn Freo Dockers season ticket holder Collingwood member
  22. They'll be benched for weeks and then maybe 5 - 10 mins at the end of the game when were ahead. Serves em right for galavanting around with the hoyty toyty posh kids in the blue blazers We would pummel England.
  23. Boro got Souness from Tottenham after he acted up there, bad attitude. Big Jack was the Boro manager at the time, the story goes Souness acted up and Jack took him behind the stand and fettled him. Souness was a real dirty player, he was well regarded and a good midfield player. In my opinion Souness was given way to much time on the ball because players were wary of his reputation. We played at Ayesome Pk and afore the game, the papers built up the possible clash of the opposing mid field enforcers…..Souness for Boro and for the Toon Tommy Craig, if Tommy ever sherked a tackle, well I never witnessed it…………. Tommy Craig got carried off after the first 50-50, Souness went over the top of the ball and clattered Tommy. Souness was the dirtiest player I’ve ever seen, he’s a piece of shit !
