It’s getting harder and harder to defend Maxi, he’s not a team player, to much maverick. -

On Twitter there’s a “Great Escape” poster image it’s a cracker. Not clever enough to link it, but it’s brilliant -

Bruno and double joe’s looks canny to me ! -
What’s with the Gravy jibes ? There not wired up right the Sad Mackem Bastards !

Eddie has worked wonders with a group of players devoid of confidence and worked them into a well oiled machine. He deserves all accolades available including Manager of the Year, we were dead and gone with a support that largely had excepted relegation, Eddie said on arrival he was confident of keeping us up……….”Now I’m a Beliver” Can Eddie be ruthless though? Replacing some of the current squad and moving them on, to make room in the squad for better players won’t be easy for a man who demands honesty and commitment from all involved !
-
Who ever organised Bruno’s transfer deserves a medal the size of a dustbin lid ! No two ways about it, Bruno is exceptional.

Pleased to see my favourite in Gibbo’s list…… Super Mac against Leicester 1975. Mac always scored against Mark Wallington the Leicester keeper, I was stood in the centre paddock ……Supermac shot from about 6 or 7yrds inside the half way line west stand wing…….he nearly bust the net from at least 40yards. Wouldn’t mind another wonder goal against Leicester the day !

We’re as good as safe now, none of the bottom 3 will catch us ! Lets never forget the state we were in before Eddie and the players turned it around.

Tottenham Hotspur 5 - 1 Newcastle United (03/04/2022)

Conte out coached Howe by exploiting our weaknesses ! Pressing wing-backs leave a hole, centre backs fill the void, lack of pace by Burn was Conte’s focal point ! We are miles away from being competent, fortunately there’s weaker teams than ours this season ! -
Also my first Newcastle hero, I was there the night he broke Tony Wants leg, Jinky would square the ledger as Tony Want would testify.
-
Fulham we’re very good that day, we couldn’t live with them, another team that impressed in that era was Brocks Oxford, they like McDonalds Fulham schooled us. Sorry for jumping off subject……apologies
-
Who has the confidence to volley a back heel goal on his full debut I’m declaring it now, the lad will contribute to Winning us a Trophy !
-
I remember someone in the crowd shouting at Gowling and telling him he was useless…. Another supporter telt him to shut up, Gowling is good in the air…… The first supporter replied ………So was Douglas Bader but he was no fucking good on the ground

Really hope Joe gets a called up for Brazil, he deserves the recognition.

Showed a lot of backbone getting that result,a real Team win -
Doesn’t command his box or act as sweeper when needed. There’s more to goalkeeping than shot stopping, he’s out of his depth.

Thoroughly deserves the nomination, hope the wee man wins

Build it and they will come……… Our support is huge, anyone who’s followed the Toon away, will testify that our support comes from all over the country, as far south as London, north to Edinburgh and many places in between. Any expansion of St James needs to be future proof to cater for the growing support, which will increase as soon as we become successful. We already fill the ground with only a sniff of ambition, consider just how big we could become when we become successful. My opinion…….I don’t believe 65000 is enough, I’d look at a capacity of at least 80000.
