Turning the "but they've spent £250 million, of course they're flying..." argument on its head. I kind of like it
  2. Don't get me wrong, I'd be over the moon if Endrick shows up on Tyneside. Be a real show of intent.
  3. Surprisingly, there are a few players out there who are "too good for us". He's one of them. Magnificent player, such maturity and talent for a bairn.
  4. Imagine if we'd landed Santos, Gabriel, Endrick and they join Kuol in our academy- godfathered by Bruno, Joelinton and St Max - that'd be some flair academy and a superb young family of talent that could break into the first team in thee or four years.
  5. Looking back on my old posts, he was first linked with us in early July. My concern then was that he had 54 games, zero goals. He's only 17, but if we get him, his first lessons should be on finishing!
  6. I'm a little bit torn that the rise of modern, hardworking, thinking-man's-managers like Potter and Howe is coinciding with the obvious failures of PFMs like CabbageHeed and Stevie Me. On the one hand, the clueless "pashun-driven" PFMs will no longer be able to con as many cycles of grift that the past two decades afforded Bruce. On the other hand, somebody will then have to provide entertainment whilst taking their clubs into and around the relegation spots.
  7. That's basically saying he's off to Chelsea for £30 million
  8. That Lyanco fella playing for Southampton looks a proper headcase.
  9. I remember when they put it up last year and that Tweet was flooded with some pretty vile replies from random Saudi lads. Hope that doesn’t put them off it this year, and why should it, tbf.
  10. And for the tedious trolls on Twitter with the “£200 Million on players” line- first goal today made by Fabian Schar, scored by Callum Wilson. Second goal made by Sean Longstaff, scored by Miguel Almiron. All these players were part of the squad under Steve Bruce. Schar didn’t get to play, and Longstaff and Almiron were widely panned for their performances. Look at them now.
  11. Always love that they bring that little “We Are United” sign to stick on the wall for away games. Attention to detail
  12. An emphatic NO is the honest answer. He was the man we didn’t know we needed at the time, and fair play to Mandy to interview and pick him up after the Emery fiasco. Now we have a superb manager who knows what the club and fans need, and is part of an excellent non-playing staff setup. Onwards and upwards.
  13. Handsome as fuck too. What a player. What a totally likeable team we've got, even the shithousing is more subtle than other teams.
  14. "Naaa, it's still a foul on th' keepa for me, 'is left arm comes up, 'is left arm comes up." Fuck off Jamie Redknapp.
  15. Antony's face matches Gordon's for punchability.
  16. "North Face X Gucci" can get fucked with that.
  17. He's not even bothering to respond to any of the replies, proving that he's learnt the fine art of "shitposting for clicks". Journalism has gone down the gutter since Twitter became a thing.
  18. Love these match cams, like. The roar from the crowd when the goal goes in. The T-Rex with the flag. The Tifo being unfurled at the beginning. Ryan Fraser and Bruno being all-round good eggs and greeting every single staff member when they arrive at the ground. And of course The Hug from the big fella at the end.
  19. Again, I am flabbergasted that he's basically fluent in English now. Tripps and Bruno's leadership qualities are a massive part of our resurgence.
  20. Miguel Almiron has scored the same number of goals as Wolverhampton Wanderers in the first 11 games of this season
  21. Wow Bournemouth just did a carbon copy of the Trippier-Bruno corner kick routine that got our first goal last week! Almost scored too.
  22. Good chap is Wor Miggy. Humble and happy to be here.
  23. Seems to be a lot less outrage from the media over WBA binning him versus us. Nobody saying that he was hard done by as he was starting to "turn things around"; that he should be given a full season; that fan abuse was unwarranted; that he deserves better because he is "one of the most influential managers in the last century"; that WBA fans suffer from delusions of grandeur. Nothing. Either his pals have cottoned on that he is, in fact, a woeful football manager, or it was all about kicking Newcastle and its fanbase to the curb the last time around being that we're too easy to bait. Maybe both.
  24. Imagine an all-Brazilian midfield 3 when Santos replaces Shelvey . Also amazing to see us doing deals in the off-season for youngsters. This is insane.

Apopros of nothing, I recall Alf-Inge Haaland's quote - "There's only one Manchester and there's only one United, and I've played for them both.". Class, that.
