"Erosion of income" and "trade being diverted" is not quite the same as business being put at risk. I would have more sympathy if this was coming from a publican with a single boozer, but the likes of the Vaulkhard, Malhotra and Ladhar groups have substantial portfolios of property and leisure which will still likely be making a very healthy profit overall, despite The Stack drawing on a percentage of their trade.
  2. Watched some of it, Doncaster were brilliant and it could've been more in the end. Natives weren't happy at all.
  3. Think some of this has to do with his choice of motor. When he was driving around in that sensible Audi estate he couldn't put a foot wrong. Now he's blasting about the streets in a G Wagon he's turned into a full on gangster cunt. Who the fuck does he think he is? Snoop Doggy Dogg?
  4. It's simple Alex, hoy a transfer request in if you want this so much. No? Didn't think so, you greedy cunt!
  5. That tweet is absolutely pathetic. Liverpool being portrayed as the honourable gent, and NUFC as a bunch of shysters. Anyone with half a brain knows exactly what has really been going on here.
  6. Exactly. Sky Sports have spent the last 18 months telling everyone and their dog that Isak is the best striker in the world, and we won't be able to keep hold of him. All of a sudden, he isn't worth £150m and is overpriced? Both cannot be true.
  7. Only in their skewed reality. Absolute horseshit from the scousers, that. We aren't the first club to tell a player to suck it up, and we certainly won't be the last. How about your club make a sensible offer for him? That would be a good start.
  8. Still think he'll be away, but that sort of message coming out of the club might just stop us from being fleeced every time we show interest in a player. Also pushes that narrative that we won't be low balled in selling.
  9. I get that it costs nowt to be nice and it was the decent thing to do, but stuff like that is really lovely to see. I thought he looked decent enough last night.
  10. His dream is to play in the second round of the League Cup.
  11. Fucking sick of seeing that photo of him with his tongue hanging out.
  12. £120m, £110m, no add ons, add ons, not bidding again, planning a second bid. What a load of shite this is.
  13. Honestly not buying any of this "we're not bidding until the door is open" shite. What they've actually done is spend the last fortnight orchestrating a coordinated campaign to cause as much unrest and animosity as possible in an attempt to force the price down and put NUFC in an impossible position. We've clearly got to a point where they feel enough damage has been done now. I think Romano is still playing the game because I seriously doubt that the opening bid is £120m.
  14. Given up watching SSN, lost the ability to tolerate it. It's just become awful viewing for the average football fan when the transfer window is open, especially that silly little cunt who takes an ice age to say a sentence.

"The mags don't have our global appeal and are a smaller club than us. They'll never be famous for being perpetually shite on worldwide TV and floundering in the third tier of English football for umpteen years. They can only dream of being co-owned by a useless, upper-class tory ponce who wears red trousers and fancies himself as a DJ".
  16. If he goes, then fair enough. If he goes anywhere other than Liverpool then the upset from their fans won't make it worthwhile, but it will be a small piece of amusement in an otherwise dismal period.
  17. Thanks for pointing this out, I'm now sobbing uncontrollably into my meal deal.
  18. Still think that there's a chance he stays, but it doesn't look good. Odd thing is, I always thought that when this day came I'd be absolutely distraught, but for whatever reason I just can't bring myself to be that arsed about it. The big worry is what we do if he does go. I always thought that we'd invest the money well and in a timely manner, but the last few weeks hasn't filled me with much confidence that this will be the case.

Just had a quick look through the comments, it's rattled a few of them. It's like the Honey Monster advert all over again.
  20. This. In a market where an unproven Premier league striker is worth £90m, £120m for Isak is fucking laughable, starting point or not. The amount of money spunked on transfer fees is thoroughly grotesque like, when your average fan doesn't have a pot to piss in.

Why do they never, ever, ever learn?!?! Apart from anything else, it's thoroughly awful behaviour and any half-decent human being just wouldn't behave in that manner. If any of our lot did that to Hilary Briss I'd be appalled, and I appreciate that's not a direct comparison but I don't have the first clue who their assistant coach is and I doubt half the posters on this board do, either.

Doesn't appear to be a starter, according to Rodger The Gulls.
