I'm from Wallsend and consider it to be part of Newcastle, even though it falls under North Tyneside. Benton, Forest Hall & Killingworth are all under North Tyneside but are mostly considered to be part of Newcastle. When I lived in Forest Hall a load of my mail just had my street address and Newcastle upon Tyne, then the post code.
