We are going to have to sell Gordon, Isak or Bruno at some point to bring in a bunch new young Mitchell identified talent, there is probably no way round it but Howe wont like it and has veto, so we'll see waht breaks... I'm all for keeping them this window, we clearly have £60m willing to spendish. We could have signed a promising cb and a promising rw for that.

I listen to Cliche's mainly now. It's funny. I admit I do listen to guardian weekly a bit still, but not for coverage of us which is dreadful. Wouldnt dream of going to a live show for that though, I think the discussion is generally decent but they're not as funny as they think they are others apart from a few irregular guests. I know they are on the more high horse about us at times but I dunno i am more sympathetic to that side than a lot here i guess. I tried the athletic's tactics pod thing didn't really do anything for me but was preseason stuff may try again. Totally Football show felt so unengaged, like James Richardson was nearly falling asleep at all times. Rest is Football i dip in and out of, I don't really rate their analysis of games much it's at it's best when Linekar is telling old stories but feel like going to run out of them soon if he hasn't already, but some of their interviews I've really enjoyed. Oh completely, perspective does need to be have, it's just I think a reminder of barren transfer windows under ashley where you knew standing still just meant a worse season to follow. Now I agree completely that there are differences to consider and think we will have a better season than last season whatever, but this time there is a but. The club are obviously horrendously constrained by PSR being ridiculous so I am far far from angry about it, but also boy wouldn't it be nice to have the excitement of a new signing :P

Honestly think Staverley is a huge miss purely for communication. Eales pratting about, I am not going to judge him personally but he shouldn't need to be doing that and feels a bit forced. Maybe that's just what he's like and fair enough. It still seems very small time on one hand, on another there will be a time when the club is a big corporate behemoth mega club and it'll lack any actual human touch so may be a case of be careful what you wish for.
