  1. hes never going to say got loads of money going to buy loads its a pointless question never going to get an accurate answer. Dont think we'll spend loads due to the psr bullshit but dont think we know either way based on what he says
  2. Is there even the slightest hint of substance to the rumours of him going back to italy? He's playing too well to be throwing a strop I would have thought, is it just italian media being mad again? I do wonder if agent has made enquiries but surely we wouldnt sell except for the kind of offer italian clubs can't afford...

Did not know he had that in him

    Joe Willock

Yeah absolutely but may be difficult to shift with his injury record unfortunately

    Joe Willock

Willock needs regular gametime to get to his best. Everytime he comes back from injury he needs about 2 or 3 games before he gets close, dunno if its a confidence thing or takes him time to trust his body considering his injuries. Unfortunately this means while he isnt holding down an automatic starting position i dunno if he'll ever build up that head of steam for us right now
  7. There will be heartbreaking sales to come, i honestly think it may just come down to the players though, if a player wants to go, doesn't want to be here we may just want to cash in and buy smart. We need to get ahead of this in future though, i feel all the sensible clubs that do sell already have replacements on the books, relying on someone coming in and fitting in immediately isn't great
  8. Through family member of a friend who works for man u (it's tenuous enough dont blame anyone for ignoring) said he is a really nice lad at least to all the backroom staff and physio teams, no bad word to say of him
  9. There really is a dichotomy with players sometimes, either you're brilliant or utter shit. In reality Rashford has proven pedigree for scoring plenty of goals, he's just fairly limited in other areas, clearly has some off the field struggles that impact him, and is also on astronomical wages that very few can afford and anyone who can, can afford better players. But he's not total dogshit, maybe he has been of late with form, but he's just a player useful in some circumstances.
  10. Nah Chelsea pay low wages just long contract makes up for it these days. I agree his ego wont allow him to take the paycut, and agree he's a limited player, but say if he went to Fulham reckon he'd score plenty. But he won't.
  11. Rashford's wages seem astronomical for most in the league, they'll find it hard to shift him. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he did really well for a midtable solid team built around his strengths with a good positive manager and less pressure and less of a basket case club with less scrutiny. This is not to say he has been blameless, but the narrative that he's shit seems to come from that that, he is not an absolutely top tier talent no , but he is better than he has been. In right environment he can score plenty of goals, he has shown that. Unfortunately very few clubs can afford his wages.

It doesnt happen overnight and I don't think it upsetting people is a good argument. It's never more obvious who the real 'snowflakes' are when people get really upset they may see a rainbow and be somehow mortally offended

No message is a message. I didn't grow up as a football fan due to family not being into sport apart from wimbledon once a year. As a gay fan it's hard to put into words what walking into the stadium for the first time somewhat nervously and seeing a rainbow flag being waved meant. Now I am also slightly critical of companies etc sticking rainbow flags everywhere just to look like they're good guys and join a party once a year at pride for no good reason, but it being there is important. While there is some ambiguity on things whether it is out of spite, cluelessness etc I don't care for massive pile ons, I am not under the illusion that all football players are nice people I'd want to spend time with but also could be some degree of cluelessness. As said before, genuine outreach. All political stuff out of the match? Does that include the anti-racism stuff? Not saying anything is saying a lot tbh.
  14. Everton mate has said that Dyche is basically there until the takeover goes through whereupon he will be immediately sacked. we'll see.

It's a difficult minefield, if we force people to wear it what kind of show of support is that? If we don't probably see so few would undermine rather than help. It does stick in the craw that people will promote whatever hideous gambling stuff but object to this. Equally it is absolutely the arena that needs to be visible. I'm not sure if anything good comes from singling people out too much for not showing it, especially when it is ambiguous. Guehi may have meant no offence, I do not mind him saying he loves jesus it just feels obviously somewhat pointed. I'd rather that we just did more education, more actual outreach rather than just sticking the rainbow on and calling that everything and then calling outrage when a few don't.
  16. He isn't going to contribute too much to the midfield though so it is a loss of a midfielder. I can see it to play counter but trying to keep the ball at all will be easily outnumbered.
  17. I think the more likely thing is that they have been trying to adapt training to avoid injury crisis of last season but the result as been players not as fit. If thats the case people will point fingers but I'm not sure there's a right answer there.
  18. I'm still in team howe, i dont really think theres a huge amount better available and I'm sure he will get us playing better. But we couldnt buy in summer, we didn't sell so we largely stayed the same over several transfer windows, staying the same just makes you go backwards normally and thats what has happened. We needs to refresh the squad in the summer, and that will probably mean some painful sales.
  19. While on record wishing to explore every possible avenue to stay in the location (doesn't have to be renovation, completely knocked down and rebuild if we could somehow edge out some more room somehow would be completely fine by me) if we have to move, I hope it's just a short hop to Leazes. I think the current site should be turned into parkland to replace that which is gone but would be nice to have something impressive there, to have something in that place in the city skyline (massive statue of Joelinton???), I would hate for it to be replaced with just more generic student flat buildings.
  20. Moving it is absolutely inevitable the money will win out. I know I'm not popular on this but leaving that location is absolutely heartbreaking imo.
  21. Really leaning into the Bond Villain lair reveal there

Largely agree with this he's really good but he's just not an outright finisher, he's rated on all the other stuff he brings to the game. He's an elite level ayoze perez more than anything
  23. As i don't really pay much attention to the general area of the forum the Saville profile pic is a tad confusing to be honest...
