  1. Pity all these "I'm a realist" posters stroking one out to thoughts of Doris from the Asda checkout, whilst my imagination is filled with double blowies from Scarlett and Mila
  2. He posted about a "bomb" on the 24th or so and this case was entered on the 22nd. Could be a coincidence but it's very good timing if it was! At the least it appears he does have some ITK...
  3. The club will have lost a shit load of money this year and I'm sure he'll want that back, even if (big if) the takeover does happen. Separate issues but both included in the claim.
  4. Yeah good point sorry, can't imagine we've progressed this without any evidence in hand.
  5. From a legal simpleton, I assume there are significant penalties for not disclosing, but what can be done to actually prove you haven't disclosed. This isn't a criminal case so assume no-one is going to go kicking doors in and stealing computers ala HMRC on poor old Lee. E.g. if Masters has emails and a box of cash with written incrimination from Bein/Qatar, what's to stop him deleting everything and burning the letters? Apart from their good faith and sense of morality obvs.
  6. Yeah, there is absolutely a reason for Ashley to seek damages. The club, and ultimately him, will have been hit hard financially this year. Arbitration doesn't recoup this loss.
  7. NUFC will have lost a shitload of money this year. Even if arbitration is won and a takeover does happen, there will still be some financial loss that ultimately with hit Ashley. He appears to be using this to recoup that loss and overturn the OD test. Looks separate to arbitration
  8. What specifically are you disputing? Do you think if we "win" arbitration then PIF won't come back to the table?
  9. It's not entirely unreasonable to say the club was sold. There was a signed sale contract and deposits were paid. It's also not unreasonable to say it wasn't sold until keys were handed over which they weren't. That's also fine. Neither is wrong really, it's semantics. But people just have to keep on about it when its pointless. Manorpark mentioned it once as part of a larger post and its developed into a black and white argument over several pages. E.g. you exchange contracts and deposits are paid on your house and are completing in a month. Would you consider that sold? I'd say yes personally but also understand if people say not until keys are handed over.
  10. You have said you'd leave it before but you always come back. I'm not saying your points don't have merit, but just make them elsewhere. If people aren't raising the overly-positive points in the other thread, then post them there and debunk them.
  11. @Yorkie for the love of God, please put this thread out of its misery
  12. You exchange contracts at which point it's fair to say there is a commitment to the sale and the house is effectively sold. However you remain in the house until the final completion date.
  13. Man Utd will always overshadow any potential owners and nothing they do will stand out. Man Utd in the Champions League or winning the PL is meh. NUFC doing either of those things would bring huge publicity for PIF etc and it would be a real story.
  14. "Is it dangerous? Not really. We're playing Arsenal so you have to get into them. When that stops it becomes very difficult." Christ he's a dinosaur ?
  15. He said, moaning like a fucking kid. Whaa whaa someone said something positive and I'm not allowed to tell them but I can't help myself cos I need to grow up FFS And Joey Linton liked your post which means you're definitely wrong
  16. I don't think they're lying. It's just the "we have massive news" but we can tell you is a little frustrating. I don't think it would have hurt them to keep schtum about it until they were allowed to release it.
  17. Agreed really, It's the positive takeover thread, not positive Twitter nonsense thread. Keith might have been better off waiting until he was/when allowed to talk about it, rather than getting everyone excited. Less charitable people may suspect it was done deliberately....
  18. This is like a shit, generic Suits episode. Harvey "I never lose" (NDM) is set to lose a case until Mike "Wonderboy" (Keith) finds the one piece of evidence that destroys the oppositions case and saves the day for the firm (NUFC)
  19. Probably been invited to join the Super League
  20. His version might die but frankly I don't care if Real Madrid can't drop 100m on players anymore.
  21. Was it ever established which PL laws they actually broke?
  22. "Stakeholders". Just acknowledge the fans, you utter arseholes .
