Yeah, the club will likely be amortising him as 40m, but new owners would look at any assets and ensure appropriately valued. I suspect they may have tweaked that one
-
That wasn't your point on this, you said that the £4m comes out of the clubs account and doesn't impact Ashley.
-
And this. Value would have been based on the position at that point. So if we had £xm in the bank at valuation, it needs to reflect that at handover. Not £50m less for whatever reason.
-
Are you assuming that the club has sufficient operating funds at the moment considering no matchday incoming revenues? If it doesn't, where would the cash come from? I don't have a clue if course, I assume there are more TV rights as more matches televised but does that cover matchday shortfalls?
-
Happy with just the 2 myself. I'm happy to ignore the delusionals in the positive thread and the relentless assholes in the general.
-
It would turn in to a cluster fuck. You'd have managers suing for unfair dismissal citing insufficient transfer backing, injuries etc.

Whilst I lose half the value of the club by doing so. Sorry not buying that spin. We don't know if agreements have been signed, promises made etc So are you trying to say PIF are willing to pay the 350 million if relegation occurs or that Ashley is ok with losing half the value of the club. Neither make any sense at all whichever way you look at it. Sorry again not buying that either. No, PIF won't pay 350m if relegated No, Ashley likely won't accept half - out of interest, where do you get this revised cost if relegated? Most financial experts are saying the cost of the club will be valued at least 100 million less. Please tell me one championship club which has been sold for anywhere near 175 million ever, never mind recent times with the current pandemic. This is a club who doesn't even own it's own ground either. 100m is not 50% and what financial experts? It's guesswork - we aren't really worth 350m now. How many bottom 4 clubs have ever been sold for 350m? Anything is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. PIF may well be willing to over pay to get their first choice club. I obviously don't have a clue and have no idea what will happen, but I'm not making grandiose statements like I do.

Nobody is falling for anything man, what you on about? Don't engage, you're giving him the attention he wants.
-
It's probably easier to just actually challenge relegation itself, by NOT getting relegated with a shitshow of a manager
-
I would hire him now in preparation for next season. If we survive, all well and good, but if not, I’d much rather we have him in place for next season Its a done deal Bruce has accepted a lower pay off Please tell me this is genuine??

About 6 stone probably

Come on man, stop posting or change your profile pic, we're suffering enough

Brighton have accumulated more goals than us Steve, that means they're winning if you weren't too sure.
-
Ok, only glimmering hope is he's fired after this shit show and the replacement has a couple of weeks over the intl break to undo his damage.

I'm usually pretty chipper but this is unbearably woeful

Callum Wilson: offered 'incentive-based' contract extension (Ornstein)
Hhtoon replied to Strawberry's topic in Football
Is that right? If it is, then why does it seem whenever a player gets injured he f***s off (ASM to France) especially during a covid lockdown? Honestly this club stinks from top to bottom. The photos are him at Benton. And yeah, even if he did, why wouldn't you want to be around your wife and kids while you can't train? What a madman for wanting to be close to his family. He didn't so that's fair enough. However, your second point is a load of s*** as he is a paid professional footballer and any injury requires treatment and physio to help recover. Put it this way, I can't remember players under Keegan and Robson being allowed to be away close to their family when under treatment. that also wasn't 2021 when there doctors and physios capable of these kinds of treatments all over the world. He's probably got a rehab specialist popping in to his house every day and using his well equipped home gym. Plus I'm sure he can rustle up a bin or 2 for a cool down pool session. -
I don't know why people are so confident we'll pick up points with Miggy, ASM and Wilson. Our full strength team is shit due to Bruce's mismanagement Did you watch the last 2 games? Had opportunities to put both games to bed but lack of finishing cost us. Between those 3 they've contributed to 22 goals so obviously it's more likely we're going to get goals with them in the team. Last 2 games have been pretty much 50/50 possession wise as well - we're much improved post-Jones, whatever the reason. Might be too late but getting results against Sheffield and Fulham isn't unimaginable. Or other teams I suppose.
-
Will need to win the last 2 games Vs Sheffield and Fulham. Scenario 1 - Wilson, ASM and Miggy all back and we'll prove too strong for them. Scenario 2 - Wilson, ASM and Miggy each brought back early in their recovery as an act of desperation, last one half each before being taken off not appearing for the rest of the season and we don't won't another game.
-
He appears to have a love for all things Charlie
-
I think Jones helped initiate the change in formation - it can't be a coincidence it was literally the next game. I doubt he picks the team now though, Bruce is so arrogant that can imagine he'll make the final decisions.
-
Final games of the season Vs Sheffield and Fulham are the must wins imo, considering we should have ASM, Miggy and Wilson back. Until then, it's about getting some draws in and hoping we stay in it enough so those final 2 games matter. Of course a win would be nice but so poor in front of goal. Even just Wilson back and we'd have had enough to beat WBA and Villa.
-
With Wilson and 1 of Miggy or ASM back, I can see us getting results against teams. With all 3 back we'd be too strong for Fulham for sure. Hopefully not too late by the time they're back in the fold... I don't think so, we've had them for a fair part of this season and look where we are. With a different manager aye, but with this idiot I have no faith whatsoever. ASM was out for 2 months and then Wilson was injured a couple of weeks later so I wouldn't say that's a fair part of the season. Not really a hill I wish to die on mind as we're clearly pretty shit Just think with them back and the "Jones" effect, we may get some results, with Sheffield and Fulham 2 of the most likely. Unfortunately it may well be too late by then
