Not surprised you’re enjoying it TBH, I’ve though about quitting for a while. Definitely at the top level, where it’s just a competition to see who has the best sheik. I've watched virtually zero football all season (only a couple of games when they've been on in someone else's house) and didn't miss it at all. Can really recommend the clean break, was actually a bit concerned about the conflict I was going to have next season if Rafa was still in charge with some middle-east billions to play with

I've said for years that if Ashley ever does leave he'll poison the well on the way out. Letting Rafa's contract run out and key players leave would be entirely consistent as part of a final fuck you to the fans - I'm sure there'll be a range of other dirty tricks we've not even thought of too.

Ah man, completely forgot what hope feels like This thread is absolute genius

Man City's record in 2019 so far is 7 straight wins by an aggregate score of 30-1

I've stopped watching football completely this season and really don't miss it at all. Might just be an age thing but it seems to me the game I grew up loving just doesn't exist any more.

BBC report said he cost them a goal by standing in an unnecessary offside position. And got booked.

We've had 2 season tickets in the family for over 20 years, but it's been only my brother and his missus using them for the last few seasons - he's just announced he's ditching them if Ashley is still here at the end of the season. The club is dead man. Even if the fucker does eventually leave he'll poison the well on the way out so we'll be screwed for years to come. I haven't actually watched a match since the first game of the season and actually feel much better for it tbh, surprisingly easy to switch off once you start.

First time in this thread for a while. Don't think I'll be back

Dont go in the Brexit thread brah.

We're going to end up back in the situation where he supposedly lowers the asking price but no-one will pay it because of relegation worries. He's a malicious moron.

Definitely winning this now.

Aye. Matched a far superior team very well I thought.

We're being actively sabotaged by our owner - can't recall seeing this kind of thing happening anywhere before?

CB on loan makes sense if it's just to cover Lejeune's injury

He only moved out after the HMRC raid on his house. already made plans prior to that. I have no sympathy for him. He could get a well-paid job at other companies where he would be in a role where he has the ability to do what is required whilst also not being in a charge of a multi-million-pound football club which is essentially a global company. He could have a good reputation, a very good salary, and his self-respect. He has given that up time and time again, everyone knows he's not pulling the strings but he keeps trying to convince people he is. His wife has to back him up to her colleagues at work by saying he's not in charge at the club. What respect does he have? He deserves to be hit with every stick the fans attack him with. The bald headed pisspot should be stoned to death he is on the same level of deplorable as Hillary Clinton for me every time I see his face I want to smash fuck out of it with a hammer I absolutely detest the spineless Bastard the absolute worst chairman we've ever had alongside. Stan Seymour levels of disdain Suddenly things make a lot more sense

They normally tweet out ads for their various tat throughout the day but every time they did so they were hit with a barrage of abuse and ads for their competitors in the replies. So they stopped.

Aye, I think he's decent.

Well this has been shite - should've stuck with my first instinct not to bother

Aye, think Kane was the biggest disappointment for me - your real top players do it when it really, really matters.
