So hard to predict us these days - our home form has actually been OK of late (1 defeat in 5, and that was the pretty harsh late Everton winner) and the West Ham game was some of the best football we've played in ages. Think a lot depends on how we start, if it's nervous and edgy or we go behind early then I think the crowd will turn, and that could be the beginning of the end for McClaren.

My guess would be they thought the new signings would be enough to save the day but the Everton result and especially performance must have them shitting themselves. With only 3 days between games not much chance to make the change before the weekend but unless there's a dramatic improvement I reckon he could even go before the Chelsea game.

Since the start of last season they've played against 10 men 7 times. In the same period we haven't had a single red card for the oppostion, while 10 of ours have been sent off.

Watched a few of their games lately, they always seem to start really quickly then run out of steam, so we really need to keep it tight for the first 20 minutes or so.
