I'm still not convinced about his actual defensive qualities tbh, I like him, I think he's decent going forward, offers options further up the pitch etc, but actual defending, I remain skeptical. His positional sense leaves a lot to be desired at times and honestly, he looks canny unfit to me at times, as I said before, maybe it's his running style or something but he doesn't look comfortable running at top speed, he looks laboured to me. He has time on his side and could turn out to be a class LB over the course of his career, let hope this is the case

Why is the Cabaye thread locked?

I honestly viewed his signing as a bit of a "filler" tbh, signed as a squad player, no more than that. How wrong was I? If we had a squad full of players with the desire (and ability I may add) of the Gouff we'd not get beaten too many times a season that for sure.

Sometimes players settle in/adjust at different speeds, Vurn has just taken a little longer to find his feet. Classy little player, could be huge for us.

Fucking love the Gouff, rapidly becoming a cult hero for me, tremendous work ethic, could run all day, defensively sound when doubling up, great engine, quick, can drift past players with ease, great passing ability and is chipping in with the goals as well. Probably my favourite player right now, his desire for the cause is fantastic
