Is there any actual vote of confidence though? I've seen no quotes attributed to anyone at the club, just blurb from the BBC?
Not saying it isn't true, but just pointing out I think all it is is still speculation?
Aye he's left Sky & is writing for Goal. He's usually fairly reliable. A lot depends on whether we ship Mapou out I'd imagine so personally can't see this happening. Hope we do though.
I was at the game &I didn't think the atmosphere was that bad, have seen worse.
We were all over the shop though and I have to admit Palace were worthy of their point. Unreal we couldn't even hold on for 7 minutes to get the win we needed.
On the other hand we wouldn't have got anything from the game if we hadn't brought Aaron's on.
He is a must start for me away to Southampton. A game I can't see us getting anything from unfortunately.
Is this not an over reaction? Did he not mean that was the minimum target, not the sum of our ambition for the season? i.e. Reach 48 pts as soon as we can then go on from there?
From Graeme Bailey on twitter:
@GraemeBailey: Despite Alan Pardew saying Loic Remy deal is gone, not sure club's hierarchy are of the same opinion. Wouldn't rule it out completely.
He's probably hedging his bets a CL club will come in for him. I can't see it happening, he'll end up staying at QPR and quite probably getting relegated again.

Newcastle agree a loan deal with Shakthar Donetsk for striker Facundo Ferreyra. They still want another main striker on permanent deal too.
