Young players don’t show much at the top but later develop given playing time against inferior competition. Happens to every club. Neither Armstrong nor Toney were PL quality (or even Championshop quality at that time) when they played for us and we weren’t exactly going to keep them on the books until they figured it out.

Truly weird, but typical for us, if we really did hire this guy to run the show with Bruce the “manager in name only.” If there were anyone with a spine in a position of authority at this club, Bruce would be out on his ass.

You can knock Yedlin’s performance for us, but he’s been nothing but a consummate professional and always a “give 100%” kind of player. Deserves to be treated better than that. We’re a club run by incompetent dipshits.
