If we weren't shit at football we'd have a decent chance as well.
This. The "if only this one obscure decision had gone our way" excuse-making is crap. We shouldn't have ever been a position where we're relying on these one-off decisions to totally determine our fate.
Only way I feel confident in promotion is if Rafa stays and has full control.
Charnley running the show with some two-bit retread as manager and we'll be stuck there far longer than anticipated.
I'm sure Ashley will share your sentiments, leading us to kick out Rafa in lieu of a cheaper replacement as well as neglect the needs of the squad in favor of signing a token few players we get from abroad on a discount, regardless of their fit in the XI.
I love that whole team minus Huth and Danny Simpson.
Vardy can get to fuck, the racist trash. He'd be dead of a meth overdose if he weren't good at football. Might still happen anyway.
good read
It'll be very interesting to see what he does this summer re: transfers. They've got a few players he'll find useful (De Bruyne, Silva, Aguero, Sterling), but he's gonna need an almost entirely new midfield if he wants to run his system.
