I agree that we need a purple at RCB to replace Schar, but we also need depth on the backline. Botman is our only CB under 30 (and there are concerns with his fitness). On paper, Quansah fits the mold as a tall, athletic CB who’s comfortable on the ball and can fill in at RB if necessary. Plus, let’s not discount the potential effect of that Eddie Howe Magic©️

Think Quansah would be a good addition. Rotational player if nothing else, but he seems to have a lot of potential.

Seems they did just fine without any They spent heavily in previous seasons, and shifted a decent amount of money off their books last summer. Feel like they’re tee’d up for a massive outlay this summer.

He still chipped on with 16 G/As across all competitions, which most would be happy with if not for his breakout performance the year prior. Let him rest up this summer and get his head straight. I’d also like to see the club make a firm commitment to him and reaffirm his value to the team.

He’s not SAF, though, and the game is far different than it was 20+ years ago. I doubt SAF could do now what he did running that club.

Wasn’t even here a year and really doesn’t deserve the abuse he’s gotten. Been a bit cult-like the way folks have frothed at the mouth whenever it was reported that Mitchell disagreed with EH. Occam’s razor is that the new CEO wants his own guy and I’ll be very curious to see who that ends up being/how they interact with EH.

I loved Ayoze and think Eddie would’ve gotten a tune outta him. Just had the best season of his career, too. Minteh, but some recency bias there perhaps. Wood would be handy to have as Isak’s backup. Woodman as a homegrown GK.
