Gouffran at LB ffs, behave man, surely even McClaren isn't that stupid. Lascelles and Aarons both far better options.

Aarons has played LB for us before and offers that extra bit going forward also, its Watford we're playing not Real Madrid, I think he could do a job for us. Not ideal but apparently we have a massive shortage of LB's, maybe Pardew was on to something...

Goals wise certainly, but his all round game is very decent, he could be to Mitro what Leon Best was to Demba Ba.

Don't think Aarons is the worst idea in the world personally, would rather him than Lascelles.

Thought Colback did ok at LB against West Ham, and it'll be interesting to see the Sheley/Saivet partnership, if they perform it could be bye bye Colback in central midfield at least.

Think if we win this we'll be well on our way to being out of bother and will go from strength to strength.

Hope they at least lose a couple more before winning again man, questions will start to be asked if they drop to say 12-13th place.

I like, I think overall hes been good for us, but a couple of things bother me about him and yesterday there were a couple of perfect examples. It annoys me sometimes when we are keeping the ball on the floor he seems to prefer a long ball or pass which almost always ends up with us conceding possession, hes very capable with the ball at his feet and doesn't need to hoof it, not Williamson levels of hoofing mind but its something I've noticed. Also when he marauds forward with the ball 75% of the time after taking on the first man well he misplaces a pass or gets dispossessed which often leads us to get caught on the break, we're lucky we haven't conceded from this thus far. Very pleased with him so far though and feel the best is yet to come.

Been garbage for quite a while so nice to see him contribute something, lovely finish to a great passing move.

9 goals and 4 assists so far, if you've told me at the start of the season he would get that even in the FULL season I'd have snapped your hands off tbh. Our most important player imo.
