Liverpool vs Newcastle Utd - 11/05/14 @ 3pm (Sky Sports 2)

Would have a slight bit of sympathy for Pardew if he didnt have a fully fit HBA and Marveaux sitting at home.... -
To be fair though if Poyet stays I full believe they will have a better season than us next time around. Arguably already had a better one this season.

When you read things like that it makes his job safety seem far from certain, this is why the pressure and protesting is so important, any little thing that could tip the fat man in the right direction could do the job, getting an absolute pasting from Liverpool is crucial.

Loads of our players seem to be coming out and saying they are excited about potentially influencing the title race, is this supposed to be the highlight of our season or something? Its all just so depressing. -
Just watched a snippet of his pre-game presser for Liverpool and he actually uses the sentence "I wasnt good enough" when talking about the second half of the season, first time I've actually heard him admit anything is his fault the horrible cunt.

Anyone know when this meeting is set to take place? 6 years time Doubt he will want to join us in league two tbh

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis

Love him me. -
One of his only friends in the dressing room apparently along with Gozza and Elliot so he will definitely want to keep him. Probably for 75% of that very reason.
-
Would still have him in the team over the likes of Goscoigne and Shola like, probably still better than Gouffran on the wing aswell, at least his decent dribbling takes pressure off the defence and he wins plenty of free kicks.
-
We thought the same a few weeks ago, seemed to have no concept of his first responsibility being to defend and also looked nervous and capable of falling over at any moment but since he's deputised for Bardsley at RB he's started to look canny and has actually kept Bardsley out even after suspension. Most fans choice for MOTM at Old Trafford on Saturday. Could end up being a useful squad player (probably no more than that admittedly) for £500k IMO. Maybe as a RB rather than a CB but you never know, it takes time for South American CBs to learn how to play in this country, even if they have the ability - as you lot know yourself with Coloccini. Nah, hes shit.

That Vergini is the worst defender I've ever seen.
-
I for one would be honoured to see him go to such a prestigious club.

Things went a lot better than expected today, but the abuse was aimed more at Ashley than it was at Pardew, we all know Ashley is the biggest problem, however removing Pardew is the answer in the short term and is more likely so it should have been aimed more towards him. I'll tell you something though, I sit in lower level 4 and it was fucking brilliant giving Pardew absolute dogs abuse and watching him quickly retreat back into the dugout. The banners were mint and it was hilarious to see them get chucked around when the stewards came up to confiscate them, and then have the Pardew out banner draped across the front of Shearers bar from the terrace above. Problem was though as soon as we were winning and me and the lads continued to boo Pardew whenever he popped his fucking annoying face out was that people around us in the stands looked at us and shook their heads as if to say "WTF we're winning!! whats the problem?" Our fans cannot, and will not see the bigger picture. We could be on a 20 game losing streak but if we were winning 1-0 there and then our fans would be content. This is the most frustrating and biggest problem. I've just rambled on like a tit there, canny drunk, night night.
-
I honestly think this is where the biggest problem lies and why there is seemingly no harmony in the dressing room or on the pitch.
-
If there was ever any doubt as to whether or not he would be away in the summer then I think this will guarantee it. Pardew will use this to get shot.

Aye same one track which leads the assist charts for us this season. To be fair Sissoko has the most assists but the point still stands.

FB moron: Hatem Ben arfa isn't the way forward. People orgasm over his 1 good trick once in a lifetime. The rest of the time he just doesn't do enough. I love Hatem. But he's at best a sub
-
Still arguing the toss with morons on Facebook who are claiming he's doing a good job. I don't know why I do it, I just feel it a duty to get as many people on board and aware how bad he is as possible, in the hope that more and more people realise and something is done, efforts will more than likely be pointless though.
-
Provided we don't make many additions to the depth of the squad next season, which lets face it is a likely scenario, I'd like to see something like Alnwick, Williamson, Haidara, Bigi, Abeid, Sammy, Armstrong as our bench. Not glamorous by any means and obviously there will be more senior players on the bench at times, but I feel those are the guys who seem to have a most potential, barring Williamson of course, hes just a dependable back up.

Who do you want to win - Newcastle United vs Cardiff
Tiotes Witch Doctor replied to Wullie's topic in Football
I'm going to this once again, it will be the last game I attend until Pardew is gone at least, going to try and be as vocal as possible against Pardew but its difficult when nearly the entire stadium is comatosed. Hope we get beat by as many as possible, it saddens me to say it but its in the best interests of the club, I think Pardew is going nowhere regardless but hopefully either Mike realises how bad he is and has one of his famous change of hearts or the pressure mounts on Pardew to the point where he walks (unlikely) Fully expecting 90% of the stadium to sit in silence though and no protests as usual.
