Only 17 minutes on the pitch, and without scoring was quite effective at holding up the ball and provided a couple of invaluable knock downs. Hes not the finished article, hes not amazing, and whether he will hit massive highs as a player with us is yet to be seen but I'm convinced given a proper run and time he will do well for us in this league. Rallied the crowd and the troops from the moment he came onto the pitch too.

Incredible end to the game, the stadium was absolutely rocking and the fans were behind the team for the most part from 3-1 down to get something from the game. Hardly, just not getting on his back after just over 100 minutes of game time in which hes scored and assisted a goal ffs I do like him a lot and think given the chance he will score a lot of goals this season. Just keeping some balance to everything, Perez has been trash for 75% of his game time this season and doesn't get half the abuse Mitro gets.

Unfortunately so far in this league we are nothing special, sitting 9th, yes still within 2 wins of top but so are a lot of clubs, we need to get some serious wins on the board and pull away from the pack, cant be fucked with worrying all season about getting promoted and we would 100% lose a playoff final. Need to cut out these losses. Wouldn't say I'm worried as such just thought we would have started to pull away a little bit by now.

Has he actually played more than about 130 minutes yet? Is it not too early to comment on whether or not he will make it in this division? Hes had one full game and two cameo appearances off the bench, given the amount of time Gayle & Perez have been given he will score goals in this league.

Our most important player in my honest opinion, nobody can influence the game in our squad the way he can going forward and not signing someone who can do similar was our biggest mistake in the summer and COULD be our undoing in terms of automatic promotion slots.

I was shaking when us and the mackems were in the last 4 to be drawn. Chuffed with that, we beat these at home (which isn't as likely as it should be where we're concerned) and anything is possible. Imagine

Still a lot of time to improve, but its not promising that we've dropped down a division and he doesn't look like hes improved at all. A few times this season I've seen him bottle out when challenged and just plainly not chasing the ball down or showing for the ball. Probably the biggest disappointment (so far) along with Diame.

Would be pointless to come out and slag him off when we could still need him, not to mention still get a fee for him in Jan. Still think he can do a job for us personally, but everyone's suddenly decided to hate him based on rumours that hes a bad egg in the dressing room, definitely time for him to move on at the end of the season or in Jan but he was good at the end of last season under Rafa and could do a job in the middle still.

Think if we do go top after the next two we will stay there for the rest of the season.
