Nah, they only scored 6.... you're lot scored 2 for them!
-
Oh dear... a cannot keep up!!
-
5-0 down now... incl 2 OG's. Edit... Mek that 6!
-
The size of that, and the line of sight, it pretty much means only the leazes, Milburn will see it, and the far end of the Milburn towards Gallowgate) will need Binoculars! If the screens were only gonna be that small, why not have one each end of the ground, epsecially if the primary reason was for Rugby replays/decisions??!! Just another joke, really.
-
Oh aye, 'just the bracket' indeed.
-
I've stopped listening now. Last time I did (last week), Steve Howey was on again, once again aportioning most of the blame for current position on the players. That was it, I was out. Otherwise, I'll end up crashing me car on the way h'yem one evening!
-
Read somewhere else that the screen is being paid for by the IRB (International Rugby Board) as part of the RWC 15 criteria. So not even coming out of club coffers.... but I bet they try and dress it up as such.
-
Ironic that one of the players that managed to hide Pardews tactical deficiencies, is now trying to save his job (again). Just need Demba Ba to chip in next.
-
Said it before, its the Mackems last season that have changed his thinking. Bottom at christmas and survived - he'll think its still possible. Problem is, I can't see us having the 13 points they did at that point, given our present form and approaching fixtures.
-
Aye, was having a shout at the radio on the way home. Howey puts the majority of the blame on the players. None of them seem to want to say that it Pardew who sets the team up, tells them how to play, and the one who sets the questionable tactics and make the odd substitutions. Loads of sympathy for Pardew working under and 'putting up with' Ashley, yet not realising that if he had it so bad, he could retain a scrap of respect and dignity by walking away, yet remains complicit in everything that goes on, because he just wants his payout. Almost felt like phoning in, but not sure I could stop myself losing my rag or swearing!!
-
In hindsight, maybe a boring 0-0 would have been better last night, if we wanted Ashley to take action? http://www.nufc.com/html/2007-08html/2008-01-06stoke-a.html

Steve Howey ... place of birth, Sunderland. Howey another to completely miss the point. At no point have fans NOT supported the team. The protests are aimed at the manager, not the team.
-
That reporter who ambushed Ashley on his night oot then reporting the convo, was probably the worst thing that could have happened. Had it been kept quiet, then he may have wielded the axe. However, Ashley being as stubborn as he is, he wont want to be seen to do what is predicted. The Allardyce and Hughton sackings both came pretty out of the blue, so he'll probably do it if Pardew manages to scrape a win or two.
-
Just seen the fraud on SSN, and he actually said the following after the match.... "A draw would have been as bad as a defeat tonight" The axe has to fall today.
-
Looking at Ashley reaction at the end of the match (not the lip-reading stuff), he looked like he was fed up of it, and seen enough. Hopefully this is it. As said above, we are in bad position right now, with difficult games to come. We will be truly adrift if he doesn't get rid very soon.

Tiote to be offered new deal... http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/402184/Newcastle-Chiek-Tiote-deal-Alan-Pardew Which he'll probably need to help pay for his two wives, and Mistress! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/5953487/We-reveal-which-Premiership-footie-ace-has-two-wives-and-a-secret-mistress.html?CMP=SOC-Sun-Facebook-11_20_2013-191-0-0-0 (The Sun Facebook headline reveals it to be Tiote).

Seem to be a lot of people who were anti-protest saying that 'booing the team won't help them'.... completely ignoring the fact that the planned boo's and signs weren't aimed at the team, but the so called manager. Few callers and texts to totalsport last night saying as much, and Ando lapped it up.

Seem to be tweets suggesting the cancer has spread to other parts of his body now. Don't know if that's old news or just coming out now. Either way? Keep fighting it Jonas!

p*ss take considering the e-mails posted on here which basically said stuff like this was fine It was a trap, they wanted them out in the open so they could see and get them. http://approximatelyforever.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/ackbarTrap02s_zps3f0d0cf4.jpg

Was it this one?

What did Custis say? http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9481783/who's-to-blame-at-st-james'-park?-

From what I remember, it was along the lines of... "Not happy with current results" "Understands the fans frustrations" "Feels he has to be patient with the manager" "Fans have to understand we cant compete financially with the Chelseas and Man Citys of the PL" So basically, Pardew wont be sacked, he knows we are P'd off but doesn't really care, and we will continue to have a positive Net spend. I'm sure the full wording (from David Craig) will be around somewhere tho. EDIT: Not sure if this has been posted, but here is the piece Soccer Saturday ran ahead of yesterdays match... http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9479494/dark-days-at-newcastle

The first comment he made in his MOTD post match made me laugh.. "Sometimes you get a performance that we put in against Southampton thats just not right" 'Sometimes'?? Erm Alan, thats the 2nd performance (and result) like that against Southampton in just 12 games!
-
Paul Merson has has spouted some sh*te about Newcastle in the past however on Soccer Saturday today he was spot on when he said that the only protest that would work against Ashley is dont go to the games. Its no problem for me to stay away because it feels more like Sports Direct Athletic than Newcastle United to me these days. Hope fat c* nt changes the kit to red white and blue. He might as f* ckin' well. F*ck me, I' m even starting to wish Fat Fred owned the club again. ( I know, shoot me!) Aye, saw that this lunchtime. Then Le Tissier backed it up with a story from his time at Southampton. They had a manager (can't remember which one) who was struggling and unpopular with fans for about 2 years. Nothing changed until the supporters stopped going to games. Then , it began to hit the cub, and the manager was despatched. It might only take a few games of low home attendances, but that might be the key factor that makes the difference. Maybe that could be SackPardew.com next line of attack?

Said it earlier in the week, but the Mackems 'great Escape' last season has probably changed Ashleys mindset slightly. He'll probably always be a stubborn tw*t and not want to bow to fan pressure, but the fact S*nderland became the first team to be bottom at Christmas and then survive proved it can be done. But even that relies on other results going your way. Only pressure from outside the club can force Pardew to leave, because I doubt the fat man above him will even consider it, till new year!
