Heard that. Ando doing everything he could to avoid giving any sort of opinion of the site and/or its content. Just kept rambling on and repeating 'Why do they want donations?' and 'why do they want to stay anonymous?' despite Simon Pryde telling the reason for each at least twice. They wont even acknowledge that the site is simply stating facts, and makes some very relevant points about Pardews record. The BBC impartial indeed... its been said by others, but its clearer than ever that the BBC and Ando in particular are just scared of losing their footy passes. There was also a caller who seemed to suggest that the reason Pardew, Allardyce, Souness, Gullit, etc all failed at the club was their lack of affinity with the area. Saying the only two that did well and/or were accepted by fans were KK and Sir Bobby. Nowt like Implying that we don't like southerners/foreigners, when simply put, most of the others served up dire football, unlike KK and Sir Bobby.

Very true. What really gets to me is Ando's (and others) almost shrug of the shoulders when it comes to Pardew. It's like "well we know Ashley isn't fussed one iota but who would he replace Pardew with anyway".......followed by a bizarre unwillingness to rightly criticise the manger for his glaringly obvious failings. The constraints within the club (of which I'm sure Pardew was made fully aware when he signed up) doesn't absolve him from being a crap manger ffs. I've seen a lot of comments on Anderson's indifference to Pardew recently and decided to listen to him for myself (live in London, don't get BBC Newcastle on radio just online). After listening to a few Total Sport programs, I am shocked that he's of the 'but if we sack him, who do we get in?' mentaility. It makes no sense. It's like being a Ugandan under Idi Amin's rule and saying 'well if we force a coup, who would come in? What if it was Pol Pot, or Hitler? f*** that, think we should stick with what we've got.' Ando also rolls out that same old line about not being able to compete financially with Chelsea, Man City when nobody in their fight mind expects that. Just some good, honest investment in relation to what comes in and on par with the likes of Everton wtc and certainly bloody Hull, Saints et al. Aye, that's another classic Ando that he trots out regularly that gets me annoyed, and was also mentioned by that first caller on monday's show.... "We'd need to spend £100m to get into the Champions league". Quite where this magical figure has been plucked from is anyones guess, but again, it completely dismisses the notion that the current players, and/or with a few decent additions (certainly not up to £100m in cost) could achieve more under better coaching/management. Even faced with bare facts, they dismiss them out of hand as 'opinion'.

Thing I noticed tonight was, when people were backing pardew, he was very quick to back them up, and justify the support. However, there were a couple of texts mentioning/questioning Pardew's tactics, and also asking Anderson if he thought the football had improved at all since he (Pardew) joined the club, to now. On both of those points/questions, there was silence from our 'legendary right back'.

Aye, heard that earlier. If anyone gets the chance, have listen... first caller up called 'Kevin'. Comedy Gold.

First two comments below that article...

FFS... So while we are panicking about a centre half getting injured just after letting one go, we suddenly find one of our (supposedly) creative players out for 4 months, after letting one go. Not that it would have made a difference, like... P45DUE was never gonna let Benny anywhere near the first team again anyway.

Program about Malcolm Allen just started on SC4 (Sky ch 134). Its all in welsh, like .... but KK has already been on (in English ), so it'll be showing his time at NUFC.

Even Leicester under Nigel Pearson looked pretty dangerous, and exciting going forward against Arsenal at the weekend (well, on MOTD at least). Certainly more dangerous than we've looked for a while.

Pretty much all Ben Arfas fault if you believe Total Sport pundits and or any texts they read or caller they let on. He was 'lazy' 'disruptive' 'unpopular with other players' 'never gave 100% in any games last season'. As for that Craig Hope, didn't he used to work for NUFC? Sure he used to do the video reports for the website / nufctv early days.

Well, time to drive home and probably shout at the car radio as Total Sport deflect any sort of responsibility away from Pardew for yesterday's departures.
-
NUFC.com also having a bit of go at Hatem, in their write-up...

After the run of results from new year, and various misdemeanors by him, I do wonder what it will take for the majority to turn on Pardew, especially at home games. Hopefully today will go a long way to achieving it.

It doesn't at all look like that at the minute, mate. Never one to have a go at other fans, but until all of us, everyone in the ground and everyone else that supports our club tell them to get out. And I mean really tell them, it's theirs. Of course it is. I have the club in my heart, but it's not at my fingertips. It doesn't hear me. It doesn't care about me. That's all down to them. It is theirs, physically, and that really matters. Nail.on.head.

Even if there was any intention to replace MYM, they probably wouldn't till he was signed up over there, thus leaving it too late to get a replacement 'over the line'.
-
There's Anderson again, giving standard response #1 to calls for Pardew to be sacked... "Who's gonna come in and work under this guy (Ashley) and these restrictions?" Once again, missing the point that the so-called 'restrictions' have seen a number of good players in and out of this club, and not progress under the current manager and his 'coaching' staff.

Pleased for the young 'un... and was that from a corner, too??

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143

Regards the quality, is that just ours, or are the Puma Arsenal shirts (for example) as bad quality material, and with an iron-on badge? Just wonder if it smacks of ours being a 'budget' offering, whilst still charging full whack, or is that just how poor Puma replica shirts are generally, regardless of the team? -

Well, Dortmund had the same 'spikey' striped shirts as us couple of years ago, so maybe we'll get that template this time.

Just looking at the season ticket ad... that definitely hints at a black 'V' similar to the one on the french teams shirt, not just a black panel with a pointy bottom as the mock up above... http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/b0/3d/0,,10278~12926384,00.jpg Also the irony of that advert, that at least one, probably two of those player wont be there when the new season kicks off. -

Here is a puma advert very similar to ours (The 'Believe' bollocks)... and this shirt has a 'V' across it... http://cotevestiaire.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/pa3658_17603_aw14_fcgb_home_210x297mm1.jpg?w=504&h=708 Can't see that looking very good with stripes.
