  3. Hehe, we got a bottle of that for Christmas. Aint tried it yet... Smells nice, but lethal. Tonight could be the night to crack it open!!
  4. Was thinking that myself. Imagine if he cant agree terms, and has to travel back up for the Pre-Burnley P.C. tomorrow.

As distasteful as it was, that previous mackem troll having a 'joke' about the malaysian air disaster, was perhaps 'understandable', though still wholly unacceptable. However, this one about a tragic accident in Glasgow.... just... WHY?? Some sick cretins in this world who get off on trolling and making jokes about incidents such as this. Worryingly, there tends to be a few from Wearside, though.
  6. The fact this fraud has a picture of Sir Bobby in his office??!! Its almost like he's saying... 'dont call me names, Bobby is watching'.

http://www.nufc.com/2014-15images/fsf-derby-social.jpg You gotta love the irony of Kevin Ball being their face of this 'Derby to be proud of' initiative, given what he reportedly said to Glenn Roeder at that academy derby match, years back. Anyway, regardless of fan initiatives, there'll always be an idiot element on both sides, who see this as an excuse for bother. And if its another Pardew surrender job, that will just fuel it again, too.
  8. Feel the same myself. Admittedly, its great seeing us beat the likes of Chelsea, and I did raise a smile seeing Papiss reeling away with a beaming smile. But then the TV cuts to the dugout, and we get the slimy fraud celebrating with his cohorts, and you just think... at least 4 more years. Shame really, but I still give the credit for our recent upturn in results to the players.... a few of which probably wouldn't have seen first team action if Pardew had a full squad (of his favourites) to choose from. Injuries have meant he's HAD to dip into the reserves, and those players have stepped up and performed. We've also had a decent amount of fortune in some of the recent wins (teams out of form, playing just after europe, etc) which all adds to the myth that this turnaround is all down to 'under pressure Pardew'. He has started touting arguably our best player this season for a January move too. The protests have certainly opened his eyes and ears though, and who knows - without SackPardew.com maybe we'd still be bottom of the league now. The key will be the cup run. If we can progress and take the semi/final seriously, then maybe there has been a change in thought behind the scenes. We'll wait and see.
  9. Comments from someone on FB, when I stated I wasn't eating humble pie, or being fickle about Pardew...
  10. Aye, sorry... did think of just putting it in 'Players in Public' thread for that reason.
  11. Saw him at Team Valley retail park yesterday. He was with a woman who must be his new girlfriend reported a couple of months ago. Looked well to be honest, but old, in a huge sheepskin coat. Lets hope he is managing to keep the demons at bay and is still on the road to recovery.

Thing is, if you listen to Total Sport, the thing Gabbiadini keeps harping on about, is the fact they've been in the premier league for so many consecutive seasons.... think its 10 seasons coming up. Never mind that they've struggled for good parts of a lot of those seasons, he's just happy they are now an 'established premier league team'.
  13. Aye, still remember hearing about it. Was out shopping with my son, we got back in the car and it came on the radio one news. I had t do a double take when I heard it. First sports person death that's really cut me up. Think it was the fact he was as young, and that i'd watched him playing for NUFC what is still fairly recently. Anyway, hope he's at peace now, and thoughts are still with his family.
  14. Be interesting to see how we do, now we may be suffering injuries to players who've been key to this run of results. But then again, according to some sections of the media and fans, it's all been down to Pardew, nothing to do with the players, so any key absences shouldn't make a difference, right?

Good to hear from them, and that their stance is unchanged. A lot of others wanting to give the fraud credit for this run of results.
  16. Hopefully Spurs will come knocking shortly.
  17. Pards just on SSN.... "The (nufc) fans was almost revolting". Cheeky kernt... he's nee oil painting himself!
  18. Seem to be loads on Tw*tter now seem to think he deserves credit now for this run. Not me, I still credit the players. If anything, the better the team does, and more we threaten to win a cup or qualify for 'that Europe' again, the more likely Ashley is to send him to Glasgow. Probably. Hopefully.
  19. As the saying goes, while 'you can only beat whats in front of you', you can pick holes in all of the last 4 wins. Leicester - after a decent start to the season, the pace seems to be catching up with them and their form is slipping. We scraped a 1-0 win. Spurs - European hangover, not in best of form generally either. Preferred striker (Cisse) unfit so Pardew forced to start Perez, who scores winner. Man City - rested a few players who'd normally start and didn't play as well as normal, whilst with the line-up he picked, Pardew could never have dreamt we'd actually get a result. Players deserve huge credit for that result. Liverpool - Another team not playing well so far this season, missing key players/striker(s). Obviously confidence is growing which has also helped build momentum, but to suggest this run is down to Pardew (as some of the media are), is very short sighted.
  20. Sorry if this has been posted.... http://backpardew.org/ Not sure if this is a wind-up, or if they are actually serious.
  21. Totalsport tonight was a total Pardew W***fest. In one breathe, Anderson is asking all caller... "You must have feared the worst when you saw the team he picked" .... then following it up with "Pardew never gets any credit for getting things right, like last nights team and tactics". The team he picked last night was not picked with a result in mind. It was a safety measure, resting certain/more important players for the weekend. He must have creamed himself with the way the game played out, and the result. But everyone now trying to proclaim him as some sort of tactical genius, while again missing/ignoring the blatently obvious... last night was just one of those freak results that happens, nothing to do with him. In fact, he tried to hinder the teams progress. Like I said last night, I'll credit the players, but not the fraud of a manager.
  22. Was having a 'chat' with someone on FB last night, who was questioning whether I gave Pardew any credit for the last two wins. I said no, as the players were being given a lot of stick (by some media and fans) for the losing/winless run, yet Pardew was given sympathy. So now they won a few games, I'd give the credit to the players. Last night, he basically set the team up for damage limitation, with 5 across the middle, and leaving 'key' players on the bench in favour of the weekends league match. By pure crazy luck, some younger players stepping up, and Man City not playing to their potential, we actually won, but Pardew will be claiming to be a tactical genius. I'll wait to see how long this little run lasts, and whether its a flash in the pan. Alternatively, the protests/pressure on the manager may have simply bred a siege mentality, thats brought the squad together, and is starting to produce results. thus... keep it going!!!
  23. Pro's: He's a Geordie He's free/available He's not Pardew. Cons: Questionable managerial record at lower levels. But that didn't stop Pardew getting the job. Hehe.

He'll probs sell it with a advertising clasuse that sports direct has to have space in the stadium. Thats probably what has put any potential purchases off, more tan the actual cost to buy.
