Sack Pardew ‏@SackPardew 1 min1 minute ago One down, one to go. Today we launch our campaign aimed at removing Mike Ashley as owner of #NUFC. #AshleyOut Sack Pardew ‏@SackPardew 55 secs55 seconds ago Please visit http://AshleyOut.com and follow us on @AshleyOutdotcom #AshleyOut #NUFC Not sure how successful it'll be, but they got good media coverage of their last campaign, at least.
  2. Not enough people will 'fight' for the club though. Been brainwashed to think this is the best we can expect, and that we should be thankful to Ashley for stopping us 'doing a Leeds/Portsmouth'. As for me personally, realised when he stuck with Pardew for so long (until the man himself got a better paid job) that he had little intent on the club ever being anything more than a top flight club for TV money alone. Happy to survive every year, and nothing more. Sorry, but I cant support that. And previous attempts at protesting against this man have gotten nowhere. Last thing that might lift his head, is empty or near empty home grounds, but again, not enough will stay away. So yeah, to quote Dragons Den... "I'm Out".
  3. It was coming. We've barely been out of our own half. Simple, pathetic, Pardew sh*t scared, ar*e dropping tactics, as usual. So much for Carver knowing what this match means. Still, its only half time.

The first couple of these last 4 derby defeats hurt, but I'm kind of numb to it now (as with most things NUFC at the moment), and I fully expect us to lose again. Carver can run his mouth off as much as he wants about him knowing what it means, and how he'll make sure the players know, but he was also fully involved in the last 4 defeats, so I don't what difference his local passion is gonna make, when he sets the team up like Pardew MK2. Hopefully we can turn it round, but I'm not holding my breathe.
  5. Think was already mentioned, but I'm guessing that will not be another change kit for match purposes, but the one-off pre-season only, extra revenue for Sports Direct generating Members only kit, like these ones.... http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/84/24/0,,10278~12133508,00.jpg http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/a/11/0,,10278~13177098,00.jpg However, I fully expect to see another change kit as well though, as we always seem to have two away kits now, regardless of need/clashes.

Heard some of Totalsport yesterday driving home, and it was interesting that Gabbiadini and Anderson both agreed it was time for Poyet to go, and criticised him for his tactics, team selections (sticking with certain favoured players), and dubious comments to the media.... all the very same things they both constantly defended Pardew till the end for.

Nick Barnes (Radio Ncle Mackem commentator) just tweeted that Poyet likely to go before the weekend, with 'egg nog' coming in as caretaker till summer.

Their meltdown and impending relegation is funny, but we just know its gonna be the 3 points they get off us that will keep them up.

Hehe, cannot believe they started the 2nd half with only 10 players on the pitch. I bet Larsson tried to leave the stadium, just like most of the fans!!
  11. Definitely a rabbit away with this transfer. They were quick enough to offload Santon as they said he 'probably wouldn't get a game', yet they keep this kid on the payroll, despite never having kicked a ball (in anger) for us??!! Stinks more than the Nacho Gonzales transfer!

    Paul Dummett

Raylor will be back soon, man... he can literally play anywhere.

'Poyet' has written an open letter to the mackem fans... http://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2015/february/an-open-letter-from-gus-poyet
  14. Nothing we didn't know. Would love to know how much of this revenue from increased shirts sales (supposedly thanks to SD) goes back to the respective clubs, being as the NUFC and Rangers club shop websites are both the same template now, but the NUFC one states at the foot of the page 'Copyright 2015 by Sports Direct' but the rangers says '© 2015 Rangers Retail Ltd' (haven't looked at the others). They can dress it up as SD helping increase shirt sales, but if the clubs dont get the money, or only a small percentage of it, then its only benefiting one man. EDIT: Just checked... Oldham and Portsmouth both have same website template as us and rangers, and the customers services is SD's head office address. Sheff Weds club shop appears to be its own still.

Hehe, if they'd beaten Bradford, they'd be at home to Reading, and dreams of Wembo could be on again!

No, not in itself. I resent the bullshit that's come in the wake of each walkout. In the first case, he walked when the transfer money ran out. In the second case, he walked when he realised that he wasn't going to change the owner's policy and get him to spend - the Gonzalez issue gave him the opportunity to go with his nose clean. Not true, really. The first time he left as the club was on the verge of, or just had become a PLC. It wasn't because money had run out that he walked, but the fact there would be a lot more people watching/dictating when players would be bought and/or need to be sold to balance books. This was borne out the summer afterwards (with Dalglish was manager), when the club sold Ferdinand, as it gave them the opportunity to get their money back for him. Keegan would never be happy with that situation, and rightly so. And the second time, it wasn't about being unable to get the owner to spend - remember, we'd just signed Coloccini for near £10m not long before he left the second time. It was about not being dictated who would be signed for him by a cretin like Dennis Wise - again, he was bang on for his stance in the situation.

He's defo after the sack/payoff, like... even mentioned it today, just so Ellis knows what to do.... Black Cats boss Poyet said: "I have no issue with the fans. I never hide and I am the one who'll pay the price because the only one who can get sacked is me." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31481561

Its not just the smb having that idiotic debate - a perfectly reasonable discussion on Skyscrapercity was hijacked by their imbecile contingent after sunderland came rock-bottom in the Centre for Cities study (by a country mile I might add - the only place to record a population loss in the entire country). The thread title was 'Why is sunderland a failing city?', until they spat their dummies and the mods changed it to pacify them! http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1617155&page=5 Trying to have a reasoned debate with those lackwits is like trying to kick water uphill. f*** me, what utterly pointless arguments are being made in there. Just had a read through from that link above... jeez... only surprised 'Ponteyland Airport' didn't get mentioned!!

    John Carver

Pleasantly surprised by the away fans' reaction tonight actually. Same here - didn't think they'd turn so quickly, and vocally. Can only hope that it continues at home matches too, if his tactics and subs remain as puzzling. Though at home, I bet those that shouted down the 'Sack Pardew' protesters will be even more behind 'Wor John'. Last night was ridiculous though... With over 10 mins left, takes off Cisse for Abeid... then Cabella for Dummett.... then Perez for Riviere. Its one thing to defend a point, but its another to throw in the towel and accept you can't/don't think you can still win it, with time left. He really has learned more from Pardew than he ever did from Bobby.

    Kevin Keegan

Its 23 years to the day, that he came back (first time) as manager. :'(
  22. Anyone listen to Totalsport tonight? (Yeah, I know, but its on during my drive home!). Anyway, Andersons response to anyone criticising the club for these loans was... "Whoy?!" Properly towing the club line. Claiming that all of the players loaned were miles away from the first team, and this would do the good. Then they started reading texts out, and one was from a (supposed) Newcastle supporter claiming this was a good thing, and we should sign more young players and loan them straight out to Rangers for first team experience until they are ready for ours. Additionally, I don't think they have mentioned the tweets from Santons GF at all, despite the claims she made in them. Are there really people who think like this? As far as the past v present argument goes - in the past we may have been worse, sold players, been mid-table at best. But the differnec then, was you felt there was an ambition and desire to ultimately be/do better. Now, as stated above, we are simply an advertising vehicle for S*****D*****.com.
  23. Not arsed we have 5 senior defenders for the rest of the season, one of which is Mike Williamson? What the f*** is wrong with people? 5? We have 4 players who can play left back, Dummett, Haidara, Colback and Raylor. Haidara - yes, but it could be argued Dummett is a better CB than LB. And just because Colback played there for the Mackems, doesn't mean we should be doing it. And is Raylor not naturally right sided, so again, not ideal to be playing LB??
