  1. Just looking at the season ticket ad... that definitely hints at a black 'V' similar to the one on the french teams shirt, not just a black panel with a pointy bottom as the mock up above... http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/b0/3d/0,,10278~12926384,00.jpg Also the irony of that advert, that at least one, probably two of those player wont be there when the new season kicks off.
  2. Here is a puma advert very similar to ours (The 'Believe' bollocks)... and this shirt has a 'V' across it... http://cotevestiaire.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/pa3658_17603_aw14_fcgb_home_210x297mm1.jpg?w=504&h=708 Can't see that looking very good with stripes.

Basically just highlights how poor the bottom half of the league has been - both in the fact that Sunderland managed to get out the position they were in without being cut adrft, and that we haven't been dragged out of the top ten despite our form since New Year.
  5. I heard a bit of his post match interview ealrier, and one comment was very telling... he said something like... "I wont make excuses for the 6 defeats, because I know I'm always accused of doing that"... so it appears the kernt is hearing/reading whats been said about him.... maybe even this thread! Hello Alan, you massive twat... please leave, thanks!
  6. Looks like the bloke with his back to the camera has a micey long arm! I love the thumbs up 'Aye, some gadgie has us in a headlock and am getting bodily thrown out but it's canny, nee bother' Hehe... PMSL at that. I actually think the nazi steward was dragging him back in!

This, to be honest... did it the hard way, with 7 pts from Man City, Chelsea and Man U, all away that saved them. C**ts!

I might have said it before, but its always funny how anyone from outside of Newcastle who supports NUFC is instantly labelled a 'plastic mag' or a '1992er'. Yet anyone from outside S*nderland who supports them, is said to be part of a supporters 'branch' or summit.
  9. Tbh True Faith have it right imho and its a pity nothing seems organized apart from that unless its placards and banner frenzy Sadly, that why none of these 'protests' have had any effect thus far... because there are too many people/groups with differing ideas. Even under the banner of one group, there are always other groups who want to do things differently. Until its one concerted effort, it just has little effect.
  10. True Faith seem to be trying to get people to leave in 69minutes, to mark, erm the last trophy in 1969. Gonna be fun with people leaving at different times... will look like any other match!
  11. Again, on TS someone called in and said that Pardew cannot handle 'flair players' and couldn't get the best out of Ben Arfa, and that's why there was the fall out. Anderson jumped on the caller straight away, saying Ben Arfa has fallen out with every manager he's worked with, and this was just the same thing again.... "no, I'm not having that" is what he said (about it being Pardews fault). All the while, ignoring that Pardew also has history of failing to work with/get the best out of flair players. Then the presenter kept asking if callers had enjoyed the first half of the season, and would we swap places with S*nderland? Like the first half of the season excuses the post christmas collapse in some way. I really shouldn't listen to it on the drive home, I'll end up having a crash or a Totalsport induced road rage fight one night!
  12. Totalsport, and Anderson in particular, in full on apologist mode tonight.. going mad listening to it on way home.
  13. Didn;t watch it, just seen the goals, Pardews interview and Nevilles opinion on SSN. I'm sick of hearing pundits (mainly Ando on TS, but also Neville just then) saying that our current position 9th/10th is about right, and had we been offered it at the start of the season, we'd have been happy with it. Like that somehow justifies the run of results since boxing day, because it hasn't really hurt our 'expected' position, even though its been more down to teams below us not catching us till now. Its so frustrating that the media can't/won't/don't see Pardews failings, even with hindsight of his previous jobs.
  14. FFS Fulham. Just hope Norwich can nick a point this evening, then.
  15. So unless Fulham collapse, the Mackems stay in the bottom 3 this weekend, then? Hopefully the 'class of 92' can see them off next weekend with others down there picking some more points up, too.
  16. Someone probably emailed Sky Sports saying 'United to sack Manager'... they naturally assumed it was that 'United'.
  17. Oh it does.... 4) Must not finish higher than 8th place 5) Must try to go out of cup competition at earliest round/opportunity
  18. He certainly looks like someone who has to watch our games more than once.
  19. Dear Me, just listenign to the show again now... Good Call by the way BG. That Pardew Apologist... I think it might have been the kidda who sits next to him in the stand. http://a.espncdn.com//design05/images/2014/0405/alanpardewstands20140405_576x324.jpg
  20. There was a good call on Total Sport last night, where the caller was complaining about Mick Lowes post match interview with Pardew on Saturday, and accused Lowes of letting him off lightly, and almost feeding Pardew the answers to his questions. The presenters basically cut him short as they said 'Lowes wasn't there to defend himself (cop out), but it was good that the issue was raised on the show. Also, Steve Howey was sitting in for Anderson, and the difference in what he had to say, compared to Anderson was incredible - someone with no current connection to the club, or press pass being able/prepared to say how many other fans are seeing things, was very refreshing.

The best thing about if/when they go down is, they have no-one to blame but themselves. None of the teams around them have really opened up a gap, or pulled away - and they've had loads of 'winnable' matches and plenty of points to play for, but since the League Cup Final, they have pretty much imploded. If they go, hopefully they wont come back for a while.
