  1. From what I remember, it was along the lines of... "Not happy with current results" "Understands the fans frustrations" "Feels he has to be patient with the manager" "Fans have to understand we cant compete financially with the Chelseas and Man Citys of the PL" So basically, Pardew wont be sacked, he knows we are P'd off but doesn't really care, and we will continue to have a positive Net spend. I'm sure the full wording (from David Craig) will be around somewhere tho. EDIT: Not sure if this has been posted, but here is the piece Soccer Saturday ran ahead of yesterdays match... http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9479494/dark-days-at-newcastle
  2. The first comment he made in his MOTD post match made me laugh.. "Sometimes you get a performance that we put in against Southampton thats just not right" 'Sometimes'?? Erm Alan, thats the 2nd performance (and result) like that against Southampton in just 12 games!

Paul Merson has has spouted some sh*te about Newcastle in the past however on Soccer Saturday today he was spot on when he said that the only protest that would work against Ashley is dont go to the games. Its no problem for me to stay away because it feels more like Sports Direct Athletic than Newcastle United to me these days. Hope fat c* nt changes the kit to red white and blue. He might as f* ckin' well. F*ck me, I' m even starting to wish Fat Fred owned the club again. ( I know, shoot me!) Aye, saw that this lunchtime. Then Le Tissier backed it up with a story from his time at Southampton. They had a manager (can't remember which one) who was struggling and unpopular with fans for about 2 years. Nothing changed until the supporters stopped going to games. Then , it began to hit the cub, and the manager was despatched. It might only take a few games of low home attendances, but that might be the key factor that makes the difference. Maybe that could be SackPardew.com next line of attack?
  4. Said it earlier in the week, but the Mackems 'great Escape' last season has probably changed Ashleys mindset slightly. He'll probably always be a stubborn tw*t and not want to bow to fan pressure, but the fact S*nderland became the first team to be bottom at Christmas and then survive proved it can be done. But even that relies on other results going your way. Only pressure from outside the club can force Pardew to leave, because I doubt the fat man above him will even consider it, till new year!

Exactly - even if they had been told 'from above' to stop/search/check and they disagreed with it, all they had to do was ignore and say they never found any on the searches they were allowed to do.
  6. I think we'll get beat in the cup at Palace and then lose away at Stoke and Swansea. Just hope some of the fans keep up.the campaign away from home, and hopefully he'll be gone by the time Leicester (and Nigel Pearson) come up here.

It seems everyone going on about the anonymity thinks you need to be an attention seeking idiot like Wraith. Hehe, the success of SackPardew.com in such a short time must be eating him up badly, like.

11 years... Brilliant. I doubt Pistorious will even get that long!
  9. Lee Charnley, managing director at Newcastle United, said: "We wanted to involve our supporters in the design and approval process for this kit and as such we presented a number of options to Fans Forum members. "We are delighted to unveil this kit, chosen by those members, which I am sure our players and fans will wear with pride." Charnley blaming the fans now!

As already said, massive to those involved. A well thought out, focused campaign, and its amazing it has gained so much momentum and publicity, in such a short time. Just hope it has the desired effect, and soon!
  11. aye did , did your post say cockles and georges? Haha aye, bloody auto-correct on me phone before i edited it!!
  12. Did anyone hear the first caller tonight, 'Sebastian' a 'born and bred toon fan' who lived in London all his life. Said that he felt Ashley and Pardew got a rougher ride because they were cockneys, and said Geordies doing similar would gave got easier time. Ended by saying we'lol probably end up with some 'muggy geordie' as next manager.... at which point, Steve Howay pulled him up. A clear wind up, but not sure why a London er would go to so much trouble. Maybe it was Mike Ashley himself??!!
  13. Gutted to hear this last night, and the pics of him on twitter having lost his 'famous' flowing hair, were heartbreaking. Hopefully though, he has caught it, and the treatment will be successful, and he'll make a full and quick recovery. As far as the clubs lack of reaction to this, I wouldn't be surprised to hear Pardew mention this in tomorrows press conference, and try and deflect away from the planned protests with this news.
  14. The mackems surviving last season probably hasn't helped with Ashleys thinking either, if the threat of relegation is a bearing. He might be thinking that regardless of how few points we gets these few months, that escape is still possible. They did have 'new manager bump' though, oh, and our numpty gifting them 6 points too.

Anderson had a full on rant with Pryde tonight, about the planned protests. Basically saying shouldn't happen during the match, should be before and after. What good will that do, when the target of the protests wouldn't be there before or afterwards??!!
  16. Ashley is such a w*****. I bet he saw the game on Saturday, the post-match interview and thought to himself "they have got to him. He'll jump and save me 500k from my 1.5bn. This is brilliant. He might even cry on Saturday." Le Tissier was on T'S this morning and was asked about Saturdays match and the Pardew situation. Said he was in the boardroom after the match and Ashley was there, who he spoke to. Said he was "very friendly and gracious in defeat, but didn't seem like a man preparing to sack his manager". Let's hope he really is just hanging Pardew out to dry. Roll on Saturday!!!
  17. I assume i'm allowed to post this, if not I will just delete it, from about 17 minutes in: http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1410771600 Cheers for posting that. WOW... first time I've heard one of the media telling it like it is, and asking the pertinent questions... i.e. why does Ashley want the club, why does Pardew stay?
  18. Players wages, agents fees, repainting the Gallowgate roof, installing the old gates, new bar, refurbishment/rename of 'Shearers' and those SD.com signs don't pay for themselves, you know!
  19. No need to wait - Moyes is available... Exactly - and he didn't wait until he sacked Hughton to speak to Pardew, did he? Did someone on here not confirm that Pardew was in talks a while before Hughton was actually sacked? Would be Karma on the tw*t that someone is already being primed for his job this time. Also, as far as rumours of Bruce go, I can't see Ashley paying any club compensation for a manager, especially if he gonna have to sack and pay Pardew off as well. Any new appointment will probably be someone out of work, and available.
  20. I keep forgetting about Marveaux... another alienated and isolated long before MYM and HBA.
  21. That's the annoying thing. When we finished 5th, Pardew was given 2 manager of the year awards. However, when it turns to sh*t, the so called knowledgeable pundits and journo's support him and blame the players. If it's down to him when we do well, why not when we do badly?
  22. Yep. It was on RTG last night. Speaking of Mackems, quite a few on Twitter last night calling NUFC fans 'embarrasing' and 'a disgrace' for chanting against Pardew during the game. Because they've never hounded a manager (or 3) out before.

    John Carver

I think (hope) he'll be gone along with the other stooges as part of the managerial clearout. However in the short-term, I expect the club will just fine him a weeks wage or some other sort of slap on the wrist, but only because its now been highlighted on SSN.
  24. Aye, then he said he's lost 4-0 'a few times'. Its actually 6 times, and that's not including losing 0-5 at Spurs and 0-6 at home to Liverpool!
  25. SSN... carver incident on now.
