  1. @wormy @Joey This was the listing (if it works)... https://www.dhgate.com/product/retro-newcastle-soccer-jerseys-94-95-96-97/855796264.html?dspm=pcen.orderlistpage.astab.1.bekr6IaJSbNik65vJZvl&resource_id= The seller was: 'football_shirt', and they also Whatsapp'd on despatch too, which was a first from any seller I've experineced on DHGate.
  2. So, this has just been shoved through my letterbox, and I'm over the moon with it. https://imgur.com/a/Lvx3Haj The stitching and embroidery is pretty good, the brown ale logo itself is soft, and embroidered, not hard and stiff like it is on the 'Entertainers' home shirt. But crucially, this 'XXL' actually fits me, well, it'll be a nicer fit once I shift a little more timber, but just tried the Entertainers 'XXL' and still cant get that on. So the sizing on this is closer to UK. Really pleased with it for roughly £17 delivered, and didn't take too long either, from DHGate (ordered 14/10).
  3. Just seen that on Sky, and his comments just before were saying we didn't have many attacking options on the bench. So I'm guessing if he was to introduce Liv and/or Hall, then they wouldn't be replacing like for like players (Tripps and Burn), and would be played further forward which may not be their natural positions. But, I'm guessing. Kind of agree with comments made earlier, if we want to play Tripps in the CL games, then we need to rest him in the next PL match and start giving Livramento a go. Similarly with Burn, if he is Howes first choice LB, then following league game, play Targett or start trying Hall.
  4. Minutes silence in the next round of matches for Neto's hamstring. Some overreaction to a fairly routine injury, like.
  5. Cheers for this. Its my sons birthday next month and he likes the 3rd shirt (blue) so have ordered one from Kitbag.
  6. Great watch that video, talking with Steve Watson and Lee Clark, and enjoy watching these kit videos Buglass has done. Agree with comments above. Home one is ok, but few little things I'd change (no white name panel, stripes on back down to the hem, no need for lower white panel too). But the away and third kits. The away kits, I'd have the white stripes fully down the sleeve, not just on the shoulder though, but that was the only quibble with that one. But that 3rd kit with the trefoil and the tape down the sleeve is just Love the idea of using the different crests on the differetn shirts too. As nice as this was, and I'd love Adidas to take some ideas from it, I suspect the new kits will be all but designed already. But would love to see some NUFC/Adidas leisurewear with the trefoil on though.
  7. Yeah, I have seen examples, like above, where the crest has the thicker white stripes, but have also seen pics (including pretty much all the player shirts) where the stripes are uniform widths. It always struck me that the stripes should be equal widths on the shield, and maybe it was more the exception to have the odd stripes, but that seems to be what the DHGate sellers have copied for all those shirts. It's just a little thing, but always annoyed me, and assumed it made the fakes of those shirts stand out.
  8. Gone for one of these off DHGate, and in a first of any orders from there, got a WhatsApp message from the seller, saying it was being despatched, with the photo below. Gone for the biggest they had, XXL, but it'll probably be another 'snug' fit, until I shift some timber. Interesting though, the crest looks OK, unlike the Entertainers ones which all seem to have the wider white stripes with narrow mid stripe on it.
  9. All Goalkeeper kits finally for sale... https://shop.nufc.co.uk/collections/23-24-goalkeeper?variation=B&utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Goalkeeper Kits 13%2F10%2F2023&_kx=BimOEGfPCvfhxqtWDuE-7JQvdLisZ5JFrWzA0lrefas%3D.WSF9gB
  10. I guess any punishment, if he's found guilty will depend on the extent and number of bets, and how long its been going on for. Trippier - seemingly one text to his mates to 'lump on' his tranfser to Athletico = fine + 10 week worldwide ban (implemented by The FA). Toney - over 200 charges of bets made = fine + 8 month worldwide ban. I would think the rules on betting would be the same across all FIFA leagues and competitions. So even if this was all done during his time in Italy and prior to joining us, then any ban would still be worldwide.
  11. Ah man, was hoping it was just a time embargo, with the goal highlights with the Radio Newcastle commentary coming out yestereday. but no match cam is a bit disappoitning. Bloody UEFA!

The power on the header from BDB, man.
  14. Aye, this was the sight that greeted me as I came through arrivals last night... Had thought about wearing my NUFC shirt to travel back, but kinda glad I didn't, as not sure how much help that one Police Officer would have been had it kicked off!
  15. Watched the highlights and some post match stuff on YT, and won't lie, had tears in the eyes at the end, especially after Schars worldie. Just, unreal, and to quote Big Dan, speechless.
  16. Quite surreal all these French people eating cheese savoury stotties, and sausage rolls😂😂
  17. Just landed, couldn't believe the score... Came through security, airport terminal is full of PSG supporters with faces like smacked arses... All in Greggs. 🤣
  18. Gonna miss this tonight. Fly back from Ibiza 9pm, so basically kick off time. Hopefully a nice surprise when I land.
  19. So this Fender/Adidas mural, is that all it is, or is it somehow linked to the photo of him and Bruno, where they were both dripping in the 3 stripes, and seemed like it might be for some sort of advert / campaign?

The Indian war cry also at around 32mins of the footage.
  21. Was just saying I didn't think I'd seen us score 8 before, but then remembered Sir Bobbys first home match against the Sheffield neighbours, with Shearer scoring 5.
  22. Yeah same as the neat white box on the shirts in the late 80's and 90's, no need for a full back panel like Tuesday night... Of course, no player names across the shoulders in those days, and also the shirts you bought wouldn't have the blank panel, they were only for the players.
