Hadn't finished S1 of STID, so just been catching up. That episode with the Burton match confirming relegation, and the supporter calling Coleman a prick, and offering him out after the match. Think theres one episode left of S1, then I'll start S2.
  2. Paperbacks take on this latest 'takeover'... So theres 'No comment' from the club, but Paperbacks 'NUFC sources' tell him its now up to the bidders to make Ashley an offer... basically we are now right back to the same position of the most recent 'takeovers'. Rinse, and repeat.

Something about Niall talking to Louis van Gaal's wife tickles me. "Who is it?..... Tell him I'm out." If only they'd told the supporters, or at least one of the 'Branches'. They could have arranged a nice bunch of flowers, like they did for Egg Nogs wife.
  4. He's hardly gonna say, nah it's bollocks the paper I work for prints made up shite, like. He could say his sources have told him different, no? So I wonder who has filed paperwork then - as Craig hope said yesterday that the PL only take notice if the seller approaches them?
  5. If anyone has a sub for The Athletic, Caulkin has posted a new article about "The proposed takeover of Newcastle United". https://theathletic.com/1710941/2020/03/30/newcastle-united-takeover-staveley-mike-ashley-reuben-brothers/?source=shared-article
  6. Aye, saw that in the papers today. All non-first team staff apparently, and they were emailed and told by Charnley. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/03/30/newcastle-become-first-premier-league-club-put-staff-furlough/
  7. Newcastle Blue Star have announced that season tickets for this (abandoned) season, will remain valid for the 2020-21 season, as/when it starts. And new season ticket prices have been frozen.
  8. Yeah, saw a post earlier that Newcastle Blue Star have had their season terminated and declared null and void. I know they are pushing to develop their ground (down on Denton Road, Scotswood) to get it up to the level required for promotion out of the Northern Alliance.
  9. Good thing is, its not just NUFC supporters and a local MP having a go at him/SD now, its the whole country seeing him for what he is. And when you find yourself applauding Piers Morgan...
  10. Aye, hopefully the beginning of the end for him.
  11. So after being told he can't keep his physical stores open to sell the 'essential' exercise equipment, he's hiked the prices online. Dummy.Oot. :gm's dummy:
  12. Ignore... my heed is battered and I honestly thought it was Thursday morning.
  13. Gutted I can't watch it, as I've managed to get a ticket for Oasis at the Arena.

Aye, keep hearing (on Totalsport mainly) things like 'For a club of our size / stature' when they talk about results. Latest being last night - "With respect to Bristol Rovers, a club of our stature shouldn't be getting beat 2-0 off them" At what point does it sink in (with fans and media alike) that they are now a 3rd division club, and no longer a big club thats having a bad spell?
  15. Those bullet points, man With an article like that, could Ryder and the Chronic be any further up Bruceys hoop??!!

Bet Joey Barton had himself a chuckle when he heard that.
  17. Head of 'Business Development' ? 12 years in, and he decides he finally needs someone to 'develop the business' for him??? Pity he doesn't/never wanted to develop the football side.
  18. Ah, didn't see that response. Glad they are sticking to their principals. Some of the comments though... "its only one game" .... "Ashley going nowhere anyway" .... "show me one instance where the removal of flag displays at games resulted in a change of ownership of the team"
  19. You can see his bottom lip starting to go the 2nd time he asks Hope "Are you calling me a liar?" :'(
  20. "I'm not gonna answer you, Craig" Amazing.. hadn't seen the clip where he (Craig Hope) challenged McClaren before, but now Stevie Steak Bake is taking the huff with him too. Good work. Only surprised Steve didn't ask if Luke was there to talk to.
