Only managing a total of 10 shots on target across 5 games, loosing 4, whilst playing arguably the worst premiership team ever and never having any control of possession in a single game all season should be enough to scare even the dumbest MD/Owner.....Newcastle... "Hold my beer"

Quicker to just buy Leeds. Except Leeds don't offer the same package, nowhere near. Not this year or any other year. Delusional. What do NUFC have that Leeds cannot offer? Leeds have never averaged over 40k in their history. Until the 70’s they were a nothing club. In short they’ll never be as big as NUFC. Sorry but that is simply nonsense. Biggest club in Yorkshire, in a thriving & cosmopolitan city, with a history of winning trophies in the living memory of most people. Attendences count for nothing, especially since Leeds are hardly Wimbledon...they still have attracted pretty large crowds in all the time I have followed the game. At this rate they will be a bigger club than us in 5 months time, never mind never at all. Leeds are a club just waiting to take off. And if the Saudis or Qataris buy them & make them even remotely like Man City they will attract 50k crowds easily. We already attract 50k crowds. In the championship too. And? There seems to be a thought process going on here that, just because NUFC have more potential than Leeds, that somehow Leeds won't be a very attractive proposition to Saudi. Absolute delusion I'm afraid. Who actually said that? Teasy said a few pages back... "Leeds don't offer the same package, nowhere near. Not this year or any other year." To me that insinuated that Leeds are a far less atttractive proposition than NUFC, which simply isnt true. Do see Leeds as an attractive proposition for buyers, but NUFC does have some distinct advantages....only Premier League club within 80 miles in most directions, so a perception of a bigger catchment of fans as well as there only being 2 other 'big clubs anywhere near, and the relative lack of interest in the egg chacing which starts to happen when you get towards Leeds

Probably. I mean Manchester United managed to take Shola Shoretire from under our noses. They took him directly from the academy, by giving his dad a 'job' so they'd move to Manchester. And it was Man City. Reading about it here. https://theathletic.co.uk/2198709/2021/01/13/man-city-soccer-football/ Yeah that seems very familiar. Usual story of just signing a player so others couldn't get him
-
There is literally not a more 'Newcastle' move than doing that.

Woah woah woah....we're not that extravagant. Freegle is a better bet
-
Good piece by Adam Bate on Skysports app calling him out on everything
-
So as usual were making the opposition look like prime Barcelona
-
Was gutted we didn't keep him after seeing him in preseason looking like a world beater, then he fluffed his first chance in a league game Sheff We'd and was never the same again. Although Dalglish didn't help by making him main striker . His career after us shows how badly we used him

Masters and the PL will want as much money as they can get...if they can get more by allowing PIF to take us over than they would be pandering to 'Top' 6 they won't just allow but will encourage. Reputations fade very quickly when there's no success or drama attached . Arsenal are rapidly becoming just another team in the league, Chelsea are becoming a playboy hobby that isn't working out so much now. Man Utd remain interesting at the moment because of their fairly recent successes, but a few more years without a title and Asia will forget them City will remain relevant as long as Guardiola is there, but where do they go from there? There's not a better management name around and available at present. Painfully...Leicester are the way forward...can see them dumping Arsenal or Chelsea out of the 'Top 6', Got a brilliant mix of planning and ambition beyond just raking in the pounds

Our monitoring is off the scale. Won't happen overnight, it's work in progress

Is this a commonly shared opinion? I can't say I am in agreement Wasn't pretty or particularly pleasant, but he was well on target to keep us up. Did the basics enough to get some results that weren't total flukes unlike Bruce where players cant pass to each other if they're ahead of them on the pitch or more than 5 feet away
-
Can just see Bein Sports as our main shirt sponsor now Now that would be a massive f**k you to the 'top 6', and would involve PL showing some backbone
-
More likely we'd look at dragging Andreas Andersson out of retirement

As utterly abysmal as all of the are/were, none of them served up the dire football Bruce puts out... Don't remember the team being consistently bottom of every attacking metric for any of the barring Bruce. Yes there were dire performances, yes there were humiliating defeats to shocking teams, but it was never seemed to be so consistently 'let the other team have the ball all the time and hope we can get a counter attack' Pardew had the players to bail him out McLaren had the right idea, but not the backbone to carry it out Carver was just an accident waiting to happen from the start Kinnear was an embarrassment from start to finish, but was picking up points. Not with great football, but still more entertaining than Bruceball. Plus there was always the cringy amusement that he might just have a sweary rant every now and then. Yes his Simon Bird rant looking back was a huge embarrassment, but still have the feeling that the intention was to build a siege mentality...just 20 years behind the times
-
If BEIN is no longer an obstacle, the PL will just see the ££££ flashing and probably push a takeover
-
Par for the course with this club

This is like asking what kind of s**t sandwich would you like to eat....horse, dog, cat, human, monkey... Some might be less appealing, but at the end of the day it's still a s**t sandwich

Maybe maybe not, but he's as vital to Leicester as Shearer was to us. It'll be a miracle if they can replace him at the first attempt. 15 years and counting and we've never got anywhere near having a player of so much importance to the team. A player that the other team sees on the team list and thinks "s**t, this isn't going to be an easy game", a player that other players have a knot in their stomach going up against, a player that can win the on pitch battle before stepping foot on the field.

Help us Rafa Benitez....you're our only hope

What's Alex Bruce up to these days? Had a knack of showing up at his dad's club.

Maybe Rob Lee could be tempted out if retirement. Would still be a massive improvement on this lot
