Shifting Willock which would be such a good move for us, we really need someone in that midfield who can stay fit, I have massive concerns over Ramsey, Willock and Big Joe in terms of fitness.

It's the best squad we've had with the caveat of we've never spent so much money. The encouraging thing is we've still got a lot of room to improve many areas of the squad, but we really do have to be careful with our recruitment in future windows, I know many will disagree but we've been sloppy this window imo. We've improved the floor but the ceiling hasn't been touched.

True but you can't justify lashing out so much money on Wissa unless it's deadline day. Doubt PIF sign such a deal off at that point.

Wissa will never be considered a bargain no matter what he does, he's likely our most expensive player in the squad when you consider his annual cost. It's a bad deal from a financial point of view and you can't really get away from that. This isn't a knock on the player who I think is good.

As many as possible, you want to sell from a position of strength into a market which isn't flooded with talent. We want to be in a position where we decide who we sell as part of our long term squad planning goals, as things are now we get dictated to and we sell for low prices as a result of that. We want to create situations whereby our squad is built with long term goals in mind as PSR dictates thats what needed.

Wissa won't be getting a 5 year deal btw and I'm sure we've promised him a canny salary as well.
