  1. The funniest thing is a cursory email to one of our directors from Sir rat before he got carried away would have established all of this in advance. He decided to basically tell us to fuck off instead .
  2. Horrible photoshop/ai generated image mind.
  3. he had patience to campaign and support Brexit whilst being a tax exile so he does have some patience.
  4. Then I wouldn’t go on tv and fucking Moan about having to wait.
  5. But this is the point Froggy, if you don’t want overpay then you shouldn’t shop at that super market, it’s why I don’t buy my groceries from Harrods.
  6. It doesn’t benefit us, we are happy with the impasse hence our lack of negotiation.
  7. The odds are what’s decided by us though, at least until his contract expires as is industry standard, you can ask Ajax about Anthony for further reference. I know you love to troll every now and again, but I’m sure you know the way this has been handled has reflect poorly on your new minority owner.
  8. He’s friends with Brailsford. It might be Manchester red but if our ambition is to be bigger than them it’s not a relevant point. Job hopper? Yeah maybe him leaving flys in the face of all his public statements mind. Anyways, I think it will be easier to make more definitive statements about the clubs ambitions once to hear more about the future of the stadium.
  9. This whole saga does make me wonder though, what does it say for our future? If we are supposed to be competing with them and have backers with much deeper pockets does this speak to that at all? Notwithstanding he’s turned out to be absolute horrible appointment, he cost a fortune, was paid a fortune, achieved absolutely nothing and ran at the first opportunity.
  10. Yeah, but they can’t force us if I’m my understanding is correct and if it’s a matter of timing I’d imagine any legal action which followed would drag on past this summer window which seems to be one of our sources of ire.
  11. I wouldn’t have, it would have been a signal of a new professional Manchester United, a realisation that something has changed, instead we’ve got more of the same entitled behaviour. How’s the super league coming along btw?
  12. From what I’ve read we can ignore the arbitration and let it go to court, for us I don’t think this is so much about money it’s more about the timing. But I know nothing about these kinds of things.

    Dan Burn

And a year has since passed and that is no longer the case, he’s also been targetted by multiple opposition sides. Regardless he will see plenty of game time next season.
  14. Spurs are the fourth largest by revenue, if they spend what they earn they can be relaxed about missing out. They are double us and Villa and both Manchester red and Liverpool will likely be going through transition next season.
  15. It’s true we don’t know the exact numbers however it’s clear we are extremely close.
  16. Any lawyers on here? If the arbitration process is voluntary, I’m guessing we can just drag this out legally and keep him in place until his leave ends. Legal proceeding aren’t exactly quick; City can testify to this.
  17. I think, the point being if man united come for he he would be off too where as Giles would be more likely to stay as he’s a fan. That being said, my preference is someone who has experience of being in Europe regularly as well as excellent contacts in markets where value can be found.
  18. Hindsight is 20/20 but wow what a fucking terrible appointment this cunt turned out to be.
  19. He’d be leaving Palace mid job to come here, he had no attachment to the area or the club.
  20. Calbee breakfast cereal, nothing special have to rush to the office.
  21. Saw the highlights whilst eating my breakfast, looked pretty grim.
  22. It would be a good thing yes, it will ultimately limit how far the big boys can run into the distance as they are capped at a limit lower than revenue. That being said, I’ve got no idea why the PL is so determined to make the league less competitive on the bigger stage. Ultimately such rules means you will never see an Mbappe grace these shores but PSG and Madrid would remain viable options. It’s quite clear the owners are in full on protection mode without paying much attention to the bigger picture.
  23. He is gone if it’s triggered by someone of creature stature than us. It’s just how things are and we can largely blame FFP and PSR for it.
  24. I’m no fan of Edwards but the moment you put a realistic release clause in a contract it’s bound to fuel speculation mind. Especially when two players of roughly the same level in the same position went for the same money as the clause.
  25. If we are prepared for Ashworth to rot, then the approach we take should be as mentioned before, every time Sir Jim opens his mouth the price goes up by another million. Let’s run it up.
