  1. I think it's a tricky one, everyone wants something different and many comments has been made saying people will jack it in should we move out of the centre etc.
  2. For most of here they will say it's too far.
  3. If we take them at their word they haven't even decided what to do yet nevermind where an new ground will be. A lot of hurdles and obstacles to clear before we are that far along.
  4. Fair enough everyone is entitled to their opinion.
  5. Absolutely it has to beat in the world and without compromise as they have stated that's what the ambition is. I'm hoping this is precisely what they do and it's a starting point to transforming the region.
  6. Fingers crossed the plan is for a new stadium it's literally the only option that makes any sense.

In January ? I don't think that's the play for them super risky. You'd want like for like id you sold your captain and selling Anderson is definitely something which unsettled the whole defence. I don't think they go down but selling your captain and arguably best player when in a relegation fight feels like a massive gamble.

I think he's really good but his weakness can't be fixed unfortunately, and id prefer if we had two aerially dominant centre halfs as burn isn't going to be around forever and arsenal have shown good set pieces to be very cheap points which is something we also need to capitalise on.
  9. Portuguese sources, always to taken with a handful of salt.

For Palace it's probably even more important they keep him than the summer, avoiding relegation is the focus for them now and selling one of their best players would only assist to make things more difficult for them. The amount they'd lose from relegation is much more than the difference they'd get between our offer last summer and another offer next summer.
  11. Damn that's some crazy delusion. I hope you explained to him that Europe takes all the best Brazilian players and they are left with what's left plus Jamal Lewis.
  12. Who knows maybe this new deal has a break clause allowing him to walk away.
  13. Rumours are he's minded to stay regardless so this doesn't give any indication of the outcome imo.
  14. I wouldn't be selling. I'd be doing whatever I could to renew him in a year or so. If we have to sell him then it would be a record fee 120m plus so we'd have funds to replace him with any of those names you mentioned.
  15. This is why squad cost terrifies me btw. Especially if the owner investment component is removed.
  16. The cap UB is referring to is inclusive of this funding laughably.
  17. Would rightfully go down like a lead balloon, that being said I'm confident nobody knows less than teamtalk.
  18. Sounds great on paper I wouldn't be so sure personally. After all, the clubs who aren't in favour of lax financial regulation only have to draw up rules which are lawful and pass them. I've got no doubts this is what they will be attempting to do as we speak.
  19. This is cole, Villa who also loathe these rules supporting another member who loathes these rules isn't shocking at all. The wind required is 14 votes to make more equitable rules.
  20. We can't do any rebuild without selling a crown jewel or two. Ffp makes it impossible to do so. Slow and steady is the only way.

Is he clear of a Perma-croc and a bomb squad member. Very low bar.
  22. Very highly rated by the Scouse, unlikely they would sell.

I mean he can't and anyone he can't is incorrect. That being said our left back options other than him aren't great so it shouldn't be a consideration.

Indeed we didn't however Paul Mitchell will not be given 2 windows worth of excuses. I say this as someone who backed him during the summer debacle as well.
  25. Pull from international duty period given our position. We can't afford more defensive injuries.
